MLT. But MLT or BLT????
-
I'm afraid to say that series 6, for me anyway, has been much weaker than the preceding seasons. Hope they rediscover the formula but I'm not counting on it. The well crafted characters (other than Dexter), recently, have all been naff and the storyline blah. (One of my favourites,Deadwood stopped short (maybe too short IMO!). But all three seasons were collectively strong and will live in fond memory, rather than others that have started so well, but 4,5 or 6 seasons start to show their limitations.)

USA - FoxSoccer.tv and Airplay

Thanks for the feedback, there will be a lot of expats intersted in this. Can you tell me, regarding Prem games, are all available to stream or only a selected amount (as on the TV formats FSC, FSP)? If we get to the promised land this season, to be able to watch Saints each week, this is the way to go - would be cheaper than subscribing to the tv service. -
Rut my friend. Based on the reasoning why soldiers do not march across bridges, this should not be attempted on Sunday. People will die.

Nice find Block5. Like DK as DJ and remixer and his visual creativity here is most impressive. Yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyes.

Offix - free trial of foxsoccer.tv (if you havn't used it already). See the thread in this subforum on it. You're always welcome to come round to watch although I'm not sure when on Sunday I'll be viewing it.

If only he could master the strings, cos his voice is top notch. Also, he knows how to smash a guitar after a gig.

Now if there was a Roku application for Fox online, I'd jump on it as well. I'm sure it's fairly easy to get computer streaming on to the TV, but I'm too lazy to try right now. If true about every Saints game (promotion pending) then I'm absolutely in. I'm paying $15 just for FSP per month (not subscribed to FSC) . I'd be ordering both if Saints were in the Prem, that'd set me back about $25 a month - and that's without a guaranteed game each week. $170 is a no-brainer, although I wish they could do something like HBO To Go currently offer - if you subscribe to HBO via the TV, you have access to their entire archive online or through a media player (Roku). How about subscribing to FSC/FSP and getting their online content included?!

Anyone out of London Waterloo this evening...

Do you ever stop off at the Hand and Spear on the way home from Weybridge station? Is it still there? Used to be a decent pub serving us kids on a Friday/Saturday night with our dodgy student IDs. I think it's become a characterless chain pub now. -

Not the sofa. At 7am, it's the laptop n' bed support. All together now - "We're the bed supporters, bed supporters, bed supporters over here..." -
Thanksgiving trip back to the in-laws/family? We're going up the road to Mesquite on Wednesday for some turkey. Just got finished with our 3-0 win. Real pleasure to watch. Plenty of incidents. Dodgy penalty decisions (Two he gave us were wrong, then turns down 3 which we should have had). Horrible ref. Fair result though. Great win. More games please Fox! Thanks for the team recap DanW. No team is calling my name yet. I might wait until Las Vegas build a superstadium they are promising to, with casino money, and 'lure' an existing team to it. Maybe rebranding them the 'Vegas Blackjacks' or something, although I've always found this relocating phenomena to be sickening!

I'm doing alright Rut, and yourself? Getting cold up there yet? (What have you decided about the Brighton game 8 day delay?) Window - Cardinals might be slightly closer as the crow flies, but I've always liked SD as a city but it's not as if it is home. I think I may ride the season out and decide on a team to follow....let one pick me, if that's possible. This is all very new to me. 49ers? Are you suggesting I pick a team based on their success?! My 9 year old son Packers fan said something very commendable the other day, along the lines of not being too bothered if they do not win the Superbowl this time out, "cos people will think I started supporting them cos they were the best!" My years of Saints related torment and supporting the underdog through thick and thin, rubbing off on him well there then.

Congrats Rut. Lovely winner from Tebow at the end.

Whilst I'd imagine it must be pretty miserable being a Brighton fan having to endure the same old repetitive wind up, it is just banter, albeit a rather unpleasant strain (ohh er). It is what it is. I wouldn't do it, others would. Nothing the police can do (or should do) about it.

B0ll0cks! What's wrong with them??? I like San Diego and it's the closest pro team city to me. Las Vegas has no team (apart from the college Rebels). I can't go back now. The Chargers picked me...sort of. I maybe should be a Broncos fan, my wife feels affiliated with them as it's fairly close to where she grew up. Broncos are a bit gay sounding though.... I dunno....

I hope so too. My son's 4th grade teacher has had the class getting into sports (in a not too oppressive way). Including drawing lots for random NFL teams so that they could compose letters to the teams pleading for free goodies. My son drew the Packers! Before, he knew nothing about the game, now he can not get enough of his new team. At least if Green Bay go on to win again and continue to be successful, he can't be accused of being a glory supporter - the team chose him! I must say, I'm glad. With all the proper footy on telly to satisfy my needs, I've never given NFL a go. I'm happy I have now. Go Chargers....

That is a tough one, but doable! A 24 hr weekend delay is easy but an 8 day hiatus away from this site and most footy in general is not. Good luck! It's always nice driving back knowing that in a few hours there's a comfy sofa, beer, fag and an 'evening' Saints game to watch! Agreed that the Championship game quality most of the time on FSP (via Directv for me) is rubbish! I wish they'd sort it out.

Piffle! You should be grateful of a news service that informs you of what goes on around the world...maybe there was not much home grown newsworthiness tonight?? I have to put up with the likes of CNN (or FOX...yeah right) which is more often a tabloid entertainment show passing as 'hard hitting' news. And most of which entirely centered on domestic goings on. Godamnit. Actually, the quality and error frequency of BBC online has gotten fairly ****ty recently.

Paranormal Activity 2. Decided to watch in the wee hours before going to bed. Not a good idea. Scary dreams last night. The first one was much better and more 'authentic'. I laughed through a lot of 2 and wasn't very impressed by it. However, it creeps into your head and leaks out when you fall asleep. Bastards! 666/1000 Source Code. A bit silly but very engrossing and well paced. I prefer Groundhog Day. 7.5/10...7.5/10...7.5/10...7.5/10...7.5/10...7.5/10

So, a pair of Gulys then? COYS!

What a nice bunch of friendly responses! I hope he's genuine. -
It is also an age old sacred symbol for good luck and positiveness. I think this has all been one big misunderstanding. Everybody pipe down!
