Championship games on TV US/Canada
LVSaint replied to doggface's topic in Overseas Saints / Supporters Groups
Do you get Directv? FSP is $15 as a stand alone channel. The Sports pack includes all the FSC channels (we just use the one though don't we!?) and costs $12. I currently have FSP and FSC (for another few months as they offered it to me for $3 per month until Oct). After that, I'm dropping FSC. I prefer FSP because it shows Sky Sports News at much better times during the day and of course, now, for the Champ games. -

I think FSP get two games per weekend don't they? That's a 6/1 chance of Saints per week...maybe get a game once a month if we're lucky! -
Awww, with their Chupa Chups shirts on too. ^

Black Hills in South Dakota and Yellowstone Park UK for a couple of weeks in August...if any airfare deals come through...

Carling Cup 1st Round Draw (Thurs 16th June!)-Who Do You Want To Get!?!

Are we still in the ****ing first round? Boo! -
Dial M for Monkey is especially good.

I think there is evidence to prove he is a lad, yes.

At least those Cassegrains are fairly compact. I've got an Orion Dobsonian, so can't do photography...well I can, but I can't automatically track anything that require long exposures.
-
A Meade reflector, Mak or Cassegrain for astrophotography or video? The light pollution is a 'mare here. Not from the glare of the Strip though funnily enough. When the casino lights all went off for a minute last Earth Day, the same light levels remained. It's the maze of street lights that screws things up for us. That said, planetary objects, some deep sky clusters/nebulas/galaxies and most of the major constellations (with naked eye) can be seen on a cloudless night from my garden.
-
They are. What type are you looking to get?
-
Anywhere as far out of the way of light pollution as possible and higher up is best.
-
I was sent that video recently too. Lovely stuff. Hoping to get up to the Great Basin National Park in Nevada next month for some viewing in very dark skies. Won't be as spectacular as in the video, but it's pretty much 'in the middle of nowhere' as you can get.

Rule 1 please

Cheers Rut, will look out for this at next visit to superliquormartstore!

I won't argue with you, drugs are a major problem in the city. Having spent a lot of time there and spoken to and knowing a lot of people there (I share in your experiences of being offered the stuff in busy tourist thoroughfares). Drugs aside, it's still a great city.
-
Are you talking Class A or weed...or just blanketing over all 'drugs'? What about alcohol?
-
Oh don't you start. It's ****ing not alright...
-
It's a poorer and a more run down than other wealthier capitals. You just said it has a nice centre and sh!t outskirts...don't they all? I still say that you have not been much further than the docks TBF.
-
Obviously you didn't get out further than the docks.

Weed needs to be legalised across the board everywhere. Revenue would kickstart these crappy economies - California is getting closer to making it happen each time they vote on it. People will not stop using. Regulation would lead to safer preparation and stamp out the crime it's associated with. Once legalised, I do not see pot as a leapfrog drug whereby users will automatically move to harder, more damaging drugs. For it to be deemed on a par with alcohol, it's more likely that it will prevent users moving on to the nasty stuff. It's a no-brainer dude.

Animals on Wheels. Love this album.

On a side note. Is there an abundance of this season's kit still available? Might like to snag meself one at a discount this summer.
-
Correct. It annoys me that people don't know the different between white gold and "silver plated gold"... FFS, MY GOD !!!!!!!
