Used to be called 'The Big One'. I forgive their rebranding of the park.... Some excellent traditional pottery shops off the main road in the Porches area too...for the wife and/or souvenirs.

Can't really give you much else I'm afraid. Spent weeks in the area but that was in the 80s/90s and things have probably changed a lot. (looks as though they've pedestrianised a large section of the strip...a good thing) The beaches in the area are certainly top notch.

Hi Jamie. Spent many summers along the coast in Armacao de Pera. Touristy beach town but possibly not quite as built up as Albufeira. Would recommend Algar Seco towards Portimao for very cool rock pooling/cave experience with the kids. There used to be two big water parks close by near Lagoa - Slide and Splash and The Big One. Further down the coast, as said already, Lagos is a nice town and inland from Albufeira is Silves with a castle. You got a car? Lisbon is a great old city and worth a proper explore. Hoping to be there for a week myself this summer if all goes to plan.

I can offer no help with your questions. Sorry. Went for several years in a row, 'camping' on the pavement in the early 90s when it was less popular and much less well organised. Spent several nights in the rain, but was worth it for the seats we got for 4th Round and Quarter final matches. The old Court #1 was great.

Ok. If anyone knows the channels that the old shirt will be selling through, can you PM me. Don't care for the shirt myself, but my son wants it.

Now that the online store has removed the existing kit for purchase, does anyone know if this is now available at a sale price? I'd try emailing the club shop but they're not very good at responding.

They are including 'Match of the Day' to their highlights programming. Don't get too excited, it's 'based' on the UK version, so will probably end up being ****e. I'll stick to downloading the real deal Saturday evenings, which I've done every week this last season. Really looking forward to next season, just hoping that all these channels are available to us all via the TV... Still hanging on to FSC for Sky Sports News though. They are switching back to the 4PM PST live broadcasts again instead of just in the morning and late at night, from next week.

That's a great extended version too!

Some Antibalas and Herbaliser?

Nice offerings there Block5 and can't wait for the new BoC release - the above track and video are ace.

They do look pretty clean....hmmmmmmm. I'm not an expert though on decapitation and blood splatters, what do you think happened here? Should there have been more blood on the ground?
-
Could they have put their jackets on after the killing? lots of blood on the pavement where the beheading appears to have happened. headless body having been moved into the road is less likely to bleed since the heart isn't pumping any more blood out of the wound. Makes sense to me.

On a side note, will the outgoing kit be on sale soon? Want to get one for my son, who's a big fan of it. Told him there would be a newer, better design shortly, but he's having none of it!

Seriously?! Christ...

Can only comment really from my trips to both places as a child. Egypt (Cairo, Luxor) is a fascinating place but not sure it's particularly safe or stable right now is it? http://worldnews.nbcnews.com/_news/2013/03/12/17285608-egypt-branded-more-dangerous-for-tourists-than-yemen?lite Morocco on the other hand is probably a bit calmer and there are some great cities I remember, Fez and it's medina for one. Marrakesh obviously and then beach resorts to the west.

I wouldn't... Morocco?

"Bieber returned for an encore after a three minute break and finished the concert with Boyfriend and the final song Baby" At least his partner was there to help him wrap it up. Bless.

For quick trains in - Surbiton, Walton on Thames (25 mins to Waterloo), Weybridge would be good choices and quick access to A3/A31/M25/M3 routes to Soton. (Walton to St Marys takes me 1:15 to drive.) Nice enough areas and tick your boxes.

The way this is going, they'll end up offering it to 'arry!

Scary thought...

Looks as though the load master paid the ultimate price for his mistake...
