They don't need to 'stfu', but is clear and correct; the Tories have been re-elected with a majority when it was clear what their approach to welfare would be, it's clearly a popular approach with the people of England.

Remind us how the anti-austerity parties got on?

That reads to me like he knew he'd been part of stringing us along on a bit of a stitch up.

Is Classie our first and only choice of CM? Will he still be saying the same come the middle of August? See above for comments on pre-season; the amount of quotes stressing its importance is more than long enough. -

Good players can still play well - they're good players. Doesn't stop a good pre-season being very useful, the amount of quotes attesting to that are clear. Alderweireld himself stressed the importance of having a proper pre-season with a club this season. -

So you think there is a run of top drawer midfielders around Europe just sitting around, turning down moves to other clubs, just waiting for Saints to sell their current midfielder, even if that happens in the middle of August? Read any manager's comments, they always stress the importance of pre-season to gel a team and bring their players together, I've never heard the suggestion it doesn't matter before. -
Who has suggested the country's population never grows? Or that we won't need to build new housing?
-
I'm well aware they do, that's my point.
-
But we're still expected to build housing for a million + people every few years. Crazy situation.
-
And no-one can answer if we should be building housing for a million odd people every few years.

From the article you linked above.

Turnbull went off at half-time and we fell apart at the back.

Because we need to build and plan for our forthcoming season - that's having a pre season with the players that are going to be playing for us next season. Plus how many of our first choices could we be missing out on? -
I didn't think we saw too much variable bounce. The Aussie attack couldn't get a huge amount of life out of the pitch and they're no mugs. I'd be very surprised to see us take 20 wickets on that pitch in quick time, but we'll have to wait and see.
-
So why haven't we heard a single mention of this til today? Despite endless speculation on every aspect of Alderweireld? And why did the club seem confident he'd sign for us? Koeman must have known it was an issue if posters on here do? As I say, sounds like bollo**ks to me.
-
Pretty balanced day all told. I'd probably back a draw in this test now. What a player Joe Root is though.
-
I'm calling this as complete boll***s.

"Housing associations already build 40,000 affordable homes every year.". That's already a load of new affordable housing every year.
-
How many underwhelming signings do you think we've made so far?
-
You signed up on here and even created a username with 'Saint' in it. Spurs do seem a bit obsessed by Saints at the moment.

That's what I thought, he hardly touched the ball. Good for him to get the run out though. And to be fair we hardly got on the ball and created much in the 2nd half, midfield were overrun. Thought Juanmi and Soares both looked good, positive there.
-
Our centre midfield looks really weak this half.
-
Get in, decent goal from Rodriguez there, great balls from McCarthy and McQueen I think to set it up.
