Not a bad half. Lacked a bit of creativity. Defence did alright considering our line up. Last bit of that half pretty disjointed with stoppages, injuries etc.
-
He's our second choice right back, playing at left back.

This commentator has proper cracked me up. Reckon he's had a beer or two before kick off.

Good post, pretty much how I see the situation.
-
You may as well stick the names up then.

Yep, that's pretty much my take on it. Despite what Reed says and I'm sure Schneiderlin is currently being professional, but he's sung to all and sundry for the last year about his plans to play in the CL, it's not like he's just mentioned it in passing.
-
Is that a yes or a no? You haven't commented on this link yet http://www.nhsconfed.org/resources/key-statistics-on-the-nhs.

It doesn't actually say we're hopeful of making a signing in the next 48 hours. Just that we're obviously trying to sort signings soon.
-
What I would definitely say is our PR hasn't been great on this. Wrong messages on signing Clyne and Alderweireld, then someone of Reed's position going on about how depressed and deflated he now feels, no director should be coming out with that in a public interview, maybe we've been a bit too honest throughout.
-
Why not string us along til he was 100% sure the Spurs deal was right. Levy has a reputation for driving a hard bargain, so Alderweireld's camp may have been using us to get the Spurs offer up to a certain level. We'll never know 100%, who knows if Reed is being economical with the truth, but it seems a fairly open interview from him.

Ok, lets put it another way. You agree that the Tories aren't going to be destroying the NHS, regardless of their reasons for doing so?
-
Good write up here. http://m.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/13407601.Alderweireld_transfer__The_Full_Story/?ref=mac Does sound like Alderweireld strung us along and mugged us off, rather than Atletico.
-
So you now agree that the Tories don't want to destroy the NHS? And you think millions would be rushing to vote in a left wing govt if it wasn't for the nasty tabloids?
-
That was obviously a last throw of the dice.

Schneiderlin Joins Manchester United (Official)

There is no way anyone seriously feels really sorry for Morgan Schneiderlin in his current situation. -
I doubt he'd really know.
-
Hard to see where Austin will end up now, as both us and Newcastle no longer look likely and I can't see him being particularly keen on a move to somewhere like Leicester.

How much of this is true or not? http://www.nhsconfed.org/resources/key-statistics-on-the-nhs

Angelo Ogbonna - Another player we have missed out on
Sour Mash replied to Saint86's topic in The Saints
Same bed-wetting threads as last summer. Was Alderweireld our first choice last summer? -
So everyone did or didn't know they'd be significant cuts to welfare?
-
Everyone knew what their position would be, you honestly believe otherwise? People seem pretty happy with the previous 5 years, the electorate has endorsed their approach.
