Whilst those examples are all a bit boring, they're still going to be better than 90 mins of silence.

What's your point? Apart from some football fans clearly being idiots?

Interesting that Koeman says we could be in for another attacker. There have been a lot of half-links to various players, but nothing too concrete that I've seen. We'll have (hopefully) at one point this season, Pelle, Mane, Long, Elia and Rodriguez, plus potentially one more. Based on Koeman saying we need more competition up front, I assume we'd look at a direct alternative for Pelle, someone that can play as a lone front man?

This does seem a case of Chinese Wispers between websites and papers, there really isn't anything linking him to us.

Exactly that. A Brit going to Greece or Spain or someone from Mid-West USA going to Florida for example, not a huge difference at the end of the day.

Very well said, not a fan of the whole Ultras fad at all. Can't believe Rangers of all clubs have got something going like that now.
-
I don't think that vote ever happened.

That 10% figure isn't true at all. You also need to take into account the size and scale of the US, compared to say the UK and the proxiity of interesting and different places we have to visit near us compared to if you live in the mid-west of the States for example.

The difference is though that Targett had got a fair few first team minutes under his belt prior to Sunday and Koeman has had the chance of looking at him in a competitive first team environment in advance. McCarthy has only played a few minutes away to Palace, not really great prep for coming in against Arsenal.

I thought they looked good last night and Lallana played well. Swansea were poor though and defensively Liverpool look a mess.

Brilliant going, this will sell out with a fair few more days of sales remaining.
-
Exactly that, spot on.
-
What on earth does that mean?

But part of the problem is, would a ref give a penalty/free kick if the player had been impeded, but doesn't go to ground? I think not, which is one of the reasons players to go over. The dives that annoy me most are when defenders are facing their own goal with the ball, are being pressed by the opposition's attacker, elicit a nudge or touch from the attacker and go to ground, getting themselves a free kick and out of jail; happens so much in games these days, it seems its a real "skill" that has developed in players, get yourself between the ball and the man, then do to ground.
-
What would the definition of a dive be?
-
Which dives would be covered by this panel? Every single one that happens in a game?

What a random little article that is. Advised by whom to join us?

Out of interest, can you give an example of the kind of player that you woulld consider good enough as a back up defender for us?

would SRL have enjoyed the rest of his career more here?

The most important and relevant person in this instance though. -

How do you know Koeman would have valued him? Saints tried to replace him 18months ago. Would he have been scoring in the Champions League for his boyhood team if he'd stayed with us? The bloke has had a great end to his career and should just be enjoying it for what it is. -
Howe has done an absolutely amazing job for them. They're not just scraping through, but hammering teams. Not sure if I'd want them to come up though, despite our good record against them when we were in League One, I think it'd be a tougher game for us than other sides down there, as they'd really raise their game for one scalp of the year. Looks like them, along with Ipswich, Derby and M'Boro, don't mind any three of them really.

Surely no-way Bertrand will be right back? Has he any history of playing there. I just can't see it. I reckon it'll be Alderweireld, with Yoshida and Fonte at Centre Back.
-
Why do you think that? I don't have a particular problem with Americans enjoying their football, but I don't see any real benefit for the rest of the game.
-
I've thought the same all season, reminds me of what happened to Lambert so often, got no change or protection from officials at all, maybe because he was seen a big Centre Forward, but the amount a Centre Back can get away with against them is ridiculous.
