So you only want a manager that is proven in the PL?
-
Interesting, I take it you're ITK on what's gone on behind the scenes? Keep us all updated.
-
Ok, let me spell this out very clearly for you - from what we know and are aware of, what more could the board have done to guarantee that MP would turn down Spurs and stay with us? I think some of the blame of MP is over-the-top, and a lot of the criticism of the board is. Various statements about the board doing nothing but rolling over and allowing this to happen - is that not a massive assumption Shurlock? Why are you not going around and pulling people up for that, as you clearly dislike assumptions so much?
-
Regardless of who is our manager next season, none of those players will play as many games for us next season as they did this season just gone - a season where MP had been manager over the pre-season that saw £30m+ of expediture that didn't adequately resolve any of those issues you list.
-
You'd expect them to issue a statement saying "we've been looking for a new manager for the last few weeks"?
-
I'm not the one making assumptions, that's the whole point, none of us know.
-
Remember, this is SaintsWeb, that's standard behaviour on here. No-one has stated a plausible example of what else the club should have done so far this summer to keep everyone happy.
-
What exactly should the board/club have done instead?
-
Agree with all of that, apart from the "venemous" bit, probably going a bit too far there!
-
Classic Saintsweb this is, gone from the son of a mate of a bloke at the Echo hearing MP will be signing a new contract for us today, through to Sky announcing Spurs are making thie approach, all in a couple of hours.
-
So if UKIP retain half their votes come the General Election, they could well play a part in deciding who is elected.
-
Quite a bit at times - you do remember the support Adkins got over the first few months of our first season back in the Prem, WBA away etc?

Why is it "poisonous"? It's not an unreasonable assumption to make. -
Yes, but which protest vote did they steal? People have voted for who they want to represent their views on Europe ultimately. And the point that they support popular views, well that is what successful parties usually do, that 's why they're popular and people vote for them.
-
How many games did Wanyama play with Lovren and/or Boruc out?
-
Our new manager when MP goes to Spurs. Good appointment imho.
-
I assume you're not being serious?
-
What 'protest vote' have UKIP stolen and from whom? People have voted for them because they believe in and agree with their policies.
-
What exactly has Gove done that is so bad?
-
And what percentage of Hammersmith and Fulham's electorate are such people?
-
Good line to pull that one. The bloke is a knob that seems to be desperate to appear controversial and challenging.
-
Want Derby to win, but think QPR will just have too much for them on the day.
-
It would be a great kit though. Where did you see it out of interest?
-
Correct. But the article doesn't suggest he was Chelsea YTS (not sure if they still use that term?), or that he signed for us at 14. Good little article, just reaffirming how far Shaw has come in a short space of time.
-
Awkward because it will give out the impression that MP was just holding out for the Spurs job and as they haven't gone for him, he's used us as his fall back option.
