Forget this OP. I know the bloke that posted in the other thread that he'd called the club and had been told everyone was successful, he's got no reason to lie or BS.
-
What an absolutely boring ***** you must be.
-
Season ticket holders? How was it communicated to them that they'd been unsuccessful?
-
Disgusting. Exactly the sort of thing I'd expect from them unfortunately. Should flag it up to the FSF.
-
Not really. Thats quite a big thing to get wrong, telling someone that everyone that applied has got one (which does seem the case), which means we either had exactly the amount of apps as tickets available or we didn't sell out. Not sure we'll ever know as it depends on how they choose to play around with the segregation, although 400 would be quite hard to hide.

Think I had Graham Baker the year after ha ha.
-
No, but I think you'll find it ties in with the post on the other thread from someone who called the club to be told that everyone that applied in both ballots got a ticket. Still think we sold out?
-
We've got 13k season ticket holders. Each could buy two tickets.Yet we haven't sold out.
-
Think my first birthday card from them was signed by Gordon Hobson! Eileen Painter and Alan Smith used to run a tight ship, no f******g about. Although I also remember the letter about checking stuff at players, think I remember there being a police camera man at the next game, but might have just imagined that!

Says the bloke with nearly 17k posts on a football forum ha ha.

Are people still waiting for Pompey ticket email?

You're not suggesting Saints might have been economical with the truth? Ha ha. Utter shambles. -
Yep. Watched loads of s***te away from home last season. We've been excellent at home under NA, but pretty average away from home.
-
I also think that part of the problem is that for the first few months of the season Adkins did a great job of getting 100% out of every player, he got every single player, playing the best football of their career, reaching the maximum of their potential. The problem is you're not always going to keep those sort of levels going throughout a season.
-
While I certainly don't think we're "chokers" our away performances have certainly got worse from the start of the year, there has certainly been a change. Lots of potential reasons behind that though.
-
Our momentum from last season is wearing off a bit. We have probably over-achieved a bit so far this year. We've always been poor under Adkins away from home. If we were bottom of the league and beat the team that were top we'd be buzzing, so when the opposite happens, its only natural for us to be disappointed and frustrated. It also doesn't help the snippets from the club about 3 and 5 year plans, aspirations of Champs League football etc, it doesn't help to get expectations amongst fans a lot higher than our actual performances are sometimes able to meet.
-
Same. Wasn't exactly a "happy", positive interview. Hammond's form hasn't been amazing last few months, could well be playing at the back of his mind as well.
-
Got to remember this falls between two fairly big and popular away trips, Brighton and Forest, most people will always pick those two ahead of a day at the Ricoh and its hard to blame them.
-
Massively dull draw. Hopefully really cheap tickets to attract a crowd in then.
-
Why do fans still think that having loads of possession automatically means we dominated a game? Teams are oftern more than happy for us to slowly tap it back and forth around our midfield with little threat of creating anything. Adkins team selection in the last 3 games has been very poor, don't see any reason why he souldn't take a bit of stick for that, in the same way he should take credit when we do things well.

Agree about SDR, jurys been out my end the whole time, but the rest of it today? And last week? You're one of the more clued up bods on here. Impressed? Genuine question.
-
Fox is a brilliant left back? Cut out the negativity. And Chaplow is an amazing player You're the bloke employed by sky? Do you know anything about football apart from current form?
-
The most accurante and concise post on this forum for many a week. Adkins has done a cracking job keeping our momentum going or the last few months. That's worn out. We've done great to be where we are and have a great load of points on the board so we'll be play offs at minimum. At leat NC didn't "break the bank" in the summer, so we shouldn't moan.
