  1. Very typical Bristol that. Hope you and your pal are alright & it doesn't put you off Saints away. Pity the scores of police hanging around the away end couldn't be bothered to focus on what their local pikies were up to.

While I've always said the whole media bias thing is a load of rubbish, just watched the football league show highlights and would say they weren't fairly balanced, while we were poor it certainly wasn't 'all one way in the 2nd half.
  3. Where you hear that? Sort of c**tish stunt I'd expect from those Wurzels.
  4. I like De Ridder, he looks hungry and full of energy, but he takes 5 touches when one will do, his runs aren't always picked up by team mates and he's no good at all at tracking back.
  5. Wouldn't say Nicholl's team played 'keep ball' at all.
  6. Just jumped on the train back now after a few ales. Poor performance as others have stated. Chaplow going off obviously didn't help, but not enough key players performed as they can. Hopefully a kick up the backside to stop any complacency. Bristol City a good example of the advantages of pace up front. Quite often in the later stages of the 2nd half Barnard & De Ridder kept having to check their runs behind City's defence as our build up play took yet another touch. We need to know when the slow build up will work and when to go more direct - don't think we did that enough towards the end of the game. Good support from City, but they do seem to get carried away playing us, felt like they'd won their cup final and that is what the skates game will be like * 1000. Over the top policing levels as always as Ashton Gate. Bristol remains my favourite city for finding cracking, proper boozers, so the day does have an upside!

Left Hull and M'Boro off the list as if our form keeps up we'll sell out (maybe not Hull). Millwall will sell out and I'm sure I've never seen any room for it in that Blackpool stand, but could well be wrong.

Barnsley, Burnley or Cov only ones in this league where I think it would be useable.

I'm a cynic and I think its a rubbish excuse to keep you off their back. Best thing they could think of after months of procrastinating. They can't be bothered with the hassle of getting it set up and signed off each game and they probably regret agreeing to getting it done in the first place. Its too big to get used at away games. Real shame, as it was a top, top effort from you and others on here to get it sorted, hopefully we'll see the flag on display sooner rather than later.
  10. They're loving their celebrity status aren't they! BBC Documentary crew with them at the last game at St Marys, international police contacts at this one.
  11. Nothing. They don't trust the Ticket Office to not f**k up and misplace, lose, mis-process a few apps.
  12. Cr@p deal, but I guess they're expecting a combination of people getting carried away with our current form + big home crowds for Brighton/West Ham as well as the Xmas market accounting for a few sales. Only home games that might be a bit tough getting a ticket for will be Skates and Coventry.
  13. I reckon whoever runs the ticket office these days whiles away their working day by chuckling at all the Saints fans running around in confusion every time he chucks a bit of info into the mix.
  14. I'm not sure how anyone can argue that there hasn't been too immigration over the last 30 years. Parts of our country, the south-east of England in particular is over populated. Some how this once great nation has got itself into a position whereby it pays huge sections of its settled population to stay at home and not work, while importing vast amounts of cheap transient labour. It's a ridiculous situation and one that's completely unsustainable. The only people that really benefit are the wealthy middle classes out in the suburbs and shires that get the use of cut price plumbers/taxi drivers/child care for their kids.
  15. I may have missed it, but have the club put out clarification as to how they're going to allocate these remaining tickets? Is it literally first come, first served?
  16. Not that many seem to look on this forum regularly, stick it on the main forum and I bet you'll have a taker straight away.
  17. Yeah bit of an odd one. Guess one small advantage is not having to sort a ticket every week, makes a bit of a difference. Or I'd imagine they're looking at the XSmas present market? Whichever way you look at it, can't see too many bothering to take them up on this.
  18. Most likely going to do the Barnet v Macclesfeld game tomorrow night for a fiver, will see how he gets on.
  19. We will. Reckon loads will now stick in apps realising they've got a good chance. Plenty of season ticket holders with pals will be getting extras no problem.
  20. Do we actually KNOW what our allocation definitely is yet?
  21. I know a few like that. How much effort would it have really been to hand in their app, just in case they mught have been successful? If it was me I'd have handed it in regardless, nothing to lose.
  22. Most of those Saints fans got charged/banned. Great policing
  23. Bit different when you're talking about life and death issues.
  24. This has been my point all along. Its not needed anyway. If it wasn't for the masss media blowing a few big, but rare decisions out of all proportion it wouldn't be getting anywhere near the coverage it does.
