  1. No, as they've said a while ago that no more tickets will be on sale, and suggested that there are no more tickets left to sell, so they won't go back on that. I think what happened is they expected all the tickets to sell in the first ballot and have struggled to cope since then, so any remaining tickets will get returned without them admitting it.
  2. Surely the "wrong names" won't make any difference, half the people there won't have tickets matching their names?
  3. Tapping slowly with one finger, while their lips move gormlessly as they read back the sentence they've just tapped out to themselves, before pressing the spell check option. Absolute shambles. They are a football club ticket office, selling a few football tickets, they're not being asked to do anything too far off their usual operational scope of work.
  4. Reckon it'll be a push to get 20k in for this one, just one of those games that doesn't really appeal to people unfortunately.
  5. Without Lambert this really will be a test of our home record. Blackpool are no mugs and I can see them giving us a real test. Must be a fairly bad knock for Lambert to be out for at least two weeks.
  6. Didn't realise it was that many. Circa 2,400 is a fair old amount, I reckon these might just make it to general sale, will see.
  7. On Sky. Plenty of other Saints games coming up. Less than 1k away fans. We won't get anywhere near 24k.
  8. I think it will be a very poor crowd unfortunately. Prob just on 20k. Nice to see the club yet again giving priority to random students that fancy a cheap afternoon out, as oppossed to long-standing Saints fans.
  9. The more I think about this, the more I think they've got away with it yet again. After all the promises on here of them being toast 18 months + ago, we were beaten at St Marys by a team they couldn't afford and a team they couldn't pay for. Nearly two years later we're in exactly the same situation, lining up against £10.8 million worth of player's paid for by dodgy money that shouldn't have belonged to them. And people laughed when some of us said they would get away with it all that time ago!
  10. So even a non season ticket holder with less than 4 aways got a ticket? And we're expected to believe that all tickets were completely sold out?
  11. Can see no-way they can now fit in any kind of ballot or priority system. Get ready for a scramble some time next week!
  12. If the club really does aspire to be seriously successful over the next few years, it's really going to have to sort out the ticket system. Yes the bubble/coach aspect makes this slightly more complicated, but really we're giving a footballing ticket office a month to sell a couple of thousand football tickets and they're seriously struggling. Its not like they've got loads of other things going on at the moment.
  13. Talking of playing players out of position, a half serious suggestion would be Richardson at right mid, with Butterfield right back. Richardson has shown he's good getting forward, some good crosses from the bye-line, plus provides plenty of defensive cover, with Butterfield being an excellent crosser from deep. Unlikely I know.
  14. I don't need to re-watch any highlights thanks. I stood through both games at the time and know that the reason we didn't score in either game wasn't because of excellent performances from either keeper as you wrongly suggest. Both had pretty easy days.
  15. Yep. Absolute waste of time and money. See it now and again, were doing the same at Leicester off the top of my head. All it does it annoy and frustrate normal fans trying to watch their team.
  16. Absolute rubbish. Neither keeper had anything to do in either game.
  17. No-one said it was the most important thing in people's lives did they? If true, it would still make our support look s***e.
  18. And can't believe they have to send out 2000 e-mails. Must be an average of 3 or 4 fans per application, maybe 700 e-mails (stll quite a lot). Our ticket office are rubbish these days.
  19. But even that from a distance/on tv merges in with what they're singing. Much better to drown them out with something completely different.
  20. He's comfortably one of the best posters on here. No problem wearing your shirt to the Skates game.
  21. I don't think it is that to be honest. I reckon the club programmed in a maximum of two windows to process applications and they've struggled to manage those, the idea of doing anything over and above that is just too much additional effort for them.
  22. I doubt the small print even says that. Think somewhere in some of the small print the ticket is property of the club, they don't even have any obligation to let you in. Only in football.
  23. It was either the start of this season or the start of last, the club sent a letter out to season ticket holders warning them that they are responsible for anyone they buy tickets for. In theory the club can ban any fan for any reason unfortunately.
  24. What the f**k are you on about? Can't see any posts like that on this thread.
  25. Why because the massive police resources couldn't manage a handful of fans rattling a fence therefore we need to go to these extreme measures?
