  1. You will realise sooner or later in your life that the majority of football fans are thick as f**k!
  2. Find it hard to believe that 70% figure is correct. If it is, then it asks its own questions - that much possession turned into how many chances?
  3. I'd agree with all that. Surprised that NA hadn't learn from Bristol City game. Schneiderlin, Hammond and Cork in midfield is never going to work - you could argue with having two of them play is a bit too similar, let alone all 3. Poor choice. No pace going forward makes life easy for a decent defence - they can play a high line and squeeze the middle of the pitch. Also agree about Harding. He's not the best player in the world, but offers far more than Fox. Barnard struggled when he came on, I don't believe he's up to this level. We need Lallana back firing on all cylinders. Without pace going forward we need a bit of genius to unlock well organised defences. Disappointing crowd in and very quiet, poor atmosphere first half.
  4. I make him right. We are looking sluggish and a bit of fresh blood wouldn't do us any harm at all.
  5. You're probably right on that, f#*k knows how anyone could or has bothered to work that out!
  6. This. Or 'The South Coast is ours, the South Coast is ours, THE SKATES ARE BANKRUPT, the South Coast is ours'. Or 'Tell us what its like to be Pompey, tell us what it's like to be poor, tell us what it's like when your team won't exist anymore....exist anymore'.
  7. Where's the irony?
  8. Of course they won't. If they go into admin again, will be looking at -15 or -20 though I'd imagine.
  9. Why? I don't think they're similar circumstances at all.
  10. Exactly. Unfortunately I wouldn't expect anything else from those small minded cretins. One of the thickest sets of supporters going, just behind the skates in that regard.
  11. Because it's a standard, cliched thing to come out with that he's probably copied from somewhere. Anyone thats travelled enough on public transport up in London knows you'll often see a nutter off their heads babbling about something. Big deal. Real pity here having her kid in tow though.
  12. Yes mate. Will drop you a text.
  13. This, can't sum it up much better than that. Funny that this has got so much coverage, you always get freaks and nutters babbling on about something on public transport in London.
  14. Cheers. Trying to remember what we did last time. Think we went for a pint after the game in that Harvester type pub by the ground and called up cabs. Guess the bus must have just looked rubbish or had too big a queue to bother with.
  15. Anyone remember if they run a decent bus service to and from the ground - town centre/train station? Just cabbed it last time, but remember after having to call up cabs and wait around having a pint. Fair bit of traffic afterwards as well I think?
  16. Someone please lock this thread now, in fact just delete it completely if possible?
  17. wouldn't say the BBC highlights reflected the game as a whole. Fair bit of Saints possession around their box, depends how much detail our highlights go into (not seen them yet) and how bothered you are seeing our build up play fail to work?

Heard someone mention at the weekend that Bournemouth were interested in him. Could be a decent shout.

But the commentator actually said something like "it was all one way". It certainly wasn't. We were poor, but had plenty of possession in their half, just lacked any penetration though.
  20. I saw quite a few. Didn't seem to be doing too much apart from following the Bristol stewards around. I get the theory behind it, but a bit pointless in practice.
  21. Yeah saw the fat head steward snarling at anything and everyone, saw him tell a Saints fan to 'f**k off' when he complained he couldn't find anywhere to stand. Sums the backward place up completely.
  22. Palace have only just put their tickets on sale, so might be a little while before we know how many they'll bring.
  23. Its what I've been thinking all along. How often do you get 3,000 fans all turning up at the turnstiles at exactly the same time? Especially at a crumbling old s**t hole like Fratton. I reckon this must be the biggest ever bubble trip in the history of bubble trips? Only thing is, as pointed out, surely the police/stewards etc will want to pad down everyone going through as a minimum? Maybe they plan to do that when we're getting on the coaches, to save the time of us being out in the open at Pompey? Either way, 12.15 departure is far too late, even with everything running smoothly. IF this is the case, it is another good example of why a decent fan representative relationship with the club would be useful, to question and feedback on stuff like this.
  24. Ha ha, I get a mention on there. Well just in case City fans are reading this, you deserved your win yesterday, Bristol is generally a cracking city for a few beers, but your club has a high number of toothless simpletons following it. That is all.
  25. Saw their highlights on the football league show and they looked half decent - they'll certainly give us a game in a few weeks time. Their new manager is an odd looking chap though.
