Don't be ridiculous. It's a tv ad for John Lewis FFS.
-
Exactly. All your mates are in the pub enjoying a couple of pints and you're stood out in the rain chasing around to see where the tickets are being dropped off. Not really what people go to away games for. S**te customer service from Saints ticket office yet again.
-
No-one is saying that we'll never do it again, just that anyone living in the real world can see it is VERY unlikely.
-
By the half way point of this season we'll have only sold out at 3 away games (I'm assuming the Skates game in that), all 3 games local, obvious ones really. On that basis, generall speaking for away games anyone that wants a ticket can get one. And Reading went on general sale I think.
-
Obviously no-one is asking me to read it. Doesn't stop me having a look once in a while and seeing how much rubbish is posted on it by so called ITKs.
-
Look, what the f**ks wrong with you? Can't you see we're going to be the next Barcelona? Take your negative rubbish elsewhere please.

You were one of the sad cases wetting your pants about them being "toast" nearly a year ago now. As things currently stand they sit comfortably mid-table, with a reasonable first XI. When things significantly change, feel free to start this thread up and gloat, but at the moment I'd just let it die for now.
-
Are you lot still going on about this on the thread. When are they going to be "toast"? I thought they were certs for relegation this year? I'd let this thread die for a bit if I was some of you.
-
Oh and I take it on that basis, we'll soon see a thread from you informing us all that you've moved to Bury Park? Or do you actually just mean you're looking forward to your gap year travelling around the world?
-
Lovely idea nipper, shame the real world is a lot more complex than that.
-
Doubt you'd be saying that if you'd grown up in Luton, East London, Bradford etc.
-
Which was sort of the point of my original post, so I'm really not sure what your point is? The nature of the EDL (and as you say protests of that kind in general) will always attract knobs. Doesn't mean the underlying message doesn't have some validity.
-
You sound like a pair of posh, members of the surburban chattering classes "oh, they're beer drinking louts how frightfully distasteful"
-
Not sure what your point is? Not even going to bother watching the vid, read the first line of my post.
-
While it does attract more than it's fair share of idiots, I completely understand where the people behind EDL are coming from. The vast majority are genuine, passionate patriots, angered and frustrated by the behaviour of significant sections of the muslim communities in this country. I can see where the EDL are coming from and while you won't see me on any of their marches, I do sympathise with their position. They aren’t run by politicians educated at Oxbridge, supported by an established spin machine, so they won’t always get their point across in the best way. But if you were to strip down their views to the basics, plenty of normal working class people in this country would agree with them.

Did Cambridge v Wrexham in the FA Cup Friday night, then Chesham United v Cirencester Town in the Evo Stick Southern Premier, two really good games and two cracking old grounds.
-
This thread isn't Saints related and shouldn't be on the main board And look at you all jumping on the bandwagon, I hope none of you get tickets.
-
'We believe we have the equivalent of Manchester United’s Scholes, Beckham and Co already within our system,’ he says. That is pretty direct and a pointless and ridiculous thing to come out with.
-
Some massively over the top comments in that article. Great that we're aiming to be the best, but some of the comparisons are just ridiculous.
-
F**ks sake, just checked snd you're right I think. So we've both got plenty of berks that post absolute s***e on these boards.
-
Unbelievable some of the stuff on there post 213 "Would put them with Big Sam's WHU as two teams who can't play fast technical play with skillful dribbling / passing etc - both rely on physical play, cynical play and percentages" - he certainly knows his football ha ha!
-
Cheers.

Doubt it. Games like Hull away midweek end of March won't be season ticket only. Fair few others as well.
