That is true I'm afraid.

Of course. Apart from the fact that no-one has asked for information on our transfer targets. Just a fairly well known football journo wanting to do a piece on Saints' success and being blocked for whatever reason. Oh and our long-standing local paper not being given any access to the club. I don't care massively, but it should be such a straight forward thing to put right, it seems like almost all other clubs manage it.

This is Saintsweb, what do you expect? Plus have you seen the state of some of our bods commenting on twitter? The media hate us ha ha!
-
He's being sarcastic. He's obviously looking at doing a piece on our success this season, we'll get a lot more of it, despite some of the berks on here thinking there is an anti Saints agenda in the media. And some of the Saints fans on twitter seriously make me cringe, utter sad cases.

Proof that we don't need to fill SMS to expand...

A ten year pay back on an investment like that would be brilliant. -
Is this thread a wind up?
-
Got to go. As **** as it sounds its just got to be done. Plus we can't NOT sell out down there.
-
We put away tickets on sale later than other clubs, often just after home games. We generally make it difficult for out of town fans to buy away tickets. I'm sure all the booking fees are tallying up nicely.
-
Agreed, its a decent song and always easy to make a bit of a racket when it gets going.
-
If we do have 3.2k tickets, does anyone know if this will be the biggest "bubble" in the history of bubble trips?
-
I don't believe them. How come we put our away tickets on sale so late? It certainly didn't help with Bristol City with mates of mine booking up their trains with the expectation that we'd get a big enough allocation to go on general sale.

I can only think of one good thing about getting back in the Premier.

I've not missed a league game home or away for a few years, but there is no-way I'd pay £50 to go to Stamford Bridge, can't believe people pay that week in week out. -

Unless you're in the Europa League or one of the top 4, then a significant majority of games would still be Saturday 3pm. Also very rare for them to be moved at a couple of weeks notice, usually a couple of months at least. -

Unable to string a sentence together? -

The only two negatives for me are the ticket prices shooting up - a cheap away game will be £35 and having a load of JCLs flooding back to our matches. Otherwise it's definitely a positive in my eyes. -
That would be taking hte p**s! Got to put us in actual proper coaches as a minimum?
-
Probably mate, just took a punt on that Longford Engine as it was a bit closer. Did the trick anyway. Also good to see The Rocket at the station is still a fine and classy establishment!
-
I was in both those pubs on Saturday and they were average at best, the whole day reminded me what a dump of a city Coventry is. Hopefully we won't be going back there in a hurry!
-
Easy to be smug and patronising after a 4-2 win when your team is sitting clear at the top. Some of it takes the p**s a bit, "pretty walk along the canal" and the ground is in an utterly s**t location, try getting there and back from town centre/train station.
-
One of the reasons this forum annoys me. What is the point of this thread you bore?
-
Not necessarily 'luck' though is it? Why did ML & NC decide to invest in Saints as opposed to Coventry for example?
-
This bit caught my eye "Again just when you think on your travels that you have seen it all.... I couldn't quite believe seeing near to the stadium 'Bubbles Car Wash' which advertised topless car washes for £15! Considering it was a cold November night, I thought that they should be charging more than £15 for that!"
-
Yeah had a look through the usual bits and pieces and think that's the option, stroll down to Spoons, couple in there, then an earlyish bus up the ground. Exciting

Griffo has already posted a good one up on one of the other threads mate.
