Are you actually that stressed and angry that a Brighton internet forum gets more traffic than this particular internet forum?
-
Probably because contrary to what many think, only a small percentage of our fans actually use this forum. That's the problem with this method of communication, 11 people chosen out of a fan base of 40/50k isn't really the best way to communicate with fans. How do we know that some of the people there only know a couple of other Saints fans and mentioned it to them and no-one else. I know Saints fans that hardly use the internet at all, don't use facebook, twitter or here.

It's not actually "feedback" though is it?
-
This. What many people are too dense to understand is no-one is saying NC isn't doing a good job or that they don't want him at the club. They just want a reasonable opportunity to have some valid queries answered. I think it's great if we're looking to expand to 44k, would be spot on in my opninion, but why then communciate out to supporters via 2nd and 3rd hand over excited, star-struck facebook status updates? And things like the Plymouth beer story never do him any favours - there are 101 other ways to thank the loyal traveling support if he really wanted to. If there is good, positive news coming out of the club, then doing properly, professionally and clearly - it will stop a lot of the sniping and cynicism that the current approach is inclined to attract.

Perfectly summed up.
-
It was a hypothetical question FFS.
-
So you're not bothered about things that don't directly effect you. Pity, but sums up modern football fans and society in general.
-
But it goes against their own policy, as outlined above. Quite simple really? Oh and what intelligence were they gathering?

You learn much more than how to stack shelves. Its all the basics of getting into a working life. The routine of turning up to work on time every day, getting used to working with others, following orders, taking a bit of responsibility and having a bit of a pride in a job well done - habits and behaviours that are useful even if/when one moves on from "crap/dead end jobs" as you put them. Pretty much everyone on here agrees that Tesco's shouldn't be using them, but have them put towards things that help and benefit the community as a whole, there are a load of things which they could get involved in.

Simple question. You don't think the club should be challenged on what has happened to the flag lots of saints fans contributed lots of money to? Yes or no? On a lesser note, you think the way we manage away tickets is good enough? Matches a club of our forward-thinking aspirations?
-
Why? Not like its exactly hard to get duplicates at any other point in the season.
-
So if the if the police followed you down the street on your way to work filming you, you wouldn't be at all bothered? Of course you would be and quite rightly too.

Depends when & where they're travelling, but I know there are usually cheaper deals for those under 26.

Done loads of football trips by train across Europe. Best way to travel, city centre to city centre, see plenty of places as you pass along, usually a few characters on board and a bit of adventure, would definitely recommend it and would also recommend using that seat61 website as a good starting point. Yeah, always used to use hostels as well, if you're young lads all you need is cheap digs in the middle of town, somewhere to chuck your bag in, have a shower and get your head down for a few hours. I've travelled in Poland and Ukraine for football before and its all been pretty easy and cheap, but I'm already hearing from people very clued up on England away travel that the limited number of hostels in both countries are quoting absolutely stupid prices for when the Euros are on as they know there is massive demand for such accommodation , but very little supply, as they aren't touristy places. Problem with having big competitions in these places, getting affordable accommodation will be a big problem.

For the Spain game - "Had the game on whilst cooking dinner, just sort of listening to what was going on, sat down to eat dinner and turned the channel over." More interested in stuffing your fat face than watching the game, but happy to run onto a forum and give an opinion. Oh and on yesterday's game (that you didn't even watch) "at home to Sweden, grinding out a 1-0 win" you're happy to give an opinion on a game you didn't watch. It certainly wasn't a classic, but England didn't grind out a win, they played decent, attacking football and should have had a few more goals than the 1-0 scoreline reflects.

I never get why it matters if it was a racist attack or not? If you stab someone to death for no good reason, you're a c**t that deserves to rot in jail, never get the fuss about whether it was racially motivated or not.
-
I'll help you follow. Your knowledge and understanding of football is poor. You post on football forums your "expert" opinions on games you haven't even been bothered to watch. Pointless.

feeling a bit embarassed to be a Saints fan tonight
Sour Mash replied to Turkish's topic in The Saints
You find random stuff written on a football forum a year ago "very interesting". And I thought I wasted too much time on here -
Exactly. I think it would be better if they were put to work doing work for the good of the community as a whole - clearing graffiti, fly-tipping and litter for example. I guess the argument would be that there are young people out there that have never worked at all and this at least gives them valuable experience that they may otherwise not get.

How bored must you be to pull that up? I'm more than happy to admit I had doubts at plenty of times during last season. Saw some cr@p performances. -
Whether you agree with it or not (my vies are mixed), it isn't "slave" labour.
-
Right. So your original post was a load of rubbish. Great contribution.

Beat me to it. However, he's sort of right, not too bad a deal if any one misses out (no real reason to miss out though), good padded seat on the half way line, better than normal bar.
