I think Mr Dubai_Phil called it about 250 pages back, why liquidate the club when there are still assets to be stripped? Who knows when the time will come? It may even happen before next season if they don't come out of admin sometime in the next 10-11 months, once Chainrai has put what he can in his back pocket he'll tell AA to go ahead with liquidation and wrap it in PR guff about how they did everything they could to keep Pompey afloat, and how it's the toughest decision he's ever made in his life and how it is all the evil PL and FL's fault etc. etc. The only thing that can save them now is a buyer, Chainrai is merely a vulture. And I haven't even started about the Storrie/'arry/Mandaric tax evasion court cases yet.

Pompey vs Leicester round 2 friday evening, this time in the league
-
So do I. Just wish he was more consistent on the table though. No doubting the man's talent, if it wasn't for his head he could have beaten Hendry's 7 world titles. Problem he doesn't have the motivation to do it

No we weren't talking about Cortese's contacts, we were talking about what you asked

95% of the time, Ant is always the one on the left

Er even McCain's allies are aware of her level of intellgence http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/news/philipsherwell/5652031/Sarah_Palin_didnt_know_Africa_was_a_continent_claim_McCain_aides/ The woman was purely a publicity stunt in a failed attempt to win McCain the last American election. Still, at least they didn't rig it like Bush did.

That was off Solent wasn't it? Was it Merrington or the other bloke?

So were many people. SISA lost any remaining credibility when they threw their entire weight behind the Wilde takeover, shouting the "we got our club back" mantra from the rooftops and heralding it as a new era.

Nope

unless he's richard chorley under a different alias
-
and that is why they are still going, their an easy source of information for lazy journalists. Even Sky fell for them and did a televised interview with Chorley when he decided to throw coins at Lowe during the AGM a few years back. That report really got under my skin in his 5 mins of self proclaimed "speaking for all of the fans". They lost all their remaining credibility when they threw all their support behind Wilde in '07, only for the man himself to team up with Lowe again. I must say Chorley's OPEN LETTERS posted on here provided some great entertainment a few years back, purely on comedic grounds.
-
I thought they already had. As for SISA the meetings they organise are about as effective as the meetings the rest of us don't organise. They are far more interested in revelling in negative publicity about Saints, than actually supporting Saints. I hope they aren't serving tea and biscuits at that meeting, I do hate to see food and drink being wasted.
-
I'm surprised they still have those, because of the sheer bulk of a lot of the goods they became not only awkward to use but people actually got away with nicking ridiculously big things which the stores didn't bother tagging because they thought they could never be nicked. I once met a bloke who managed to nick an entire flat pack garden shed out of a B&Q.

I think there's quite a few supermarkets/petrol stations that don't like them because it was found a lot of the self pay pumps are vulnerable to chip & pin scams. A friend of mine was telling me that at one point, 60% of customers that had reported fraudulent transactions to the HSBC branch in Waterlooville had recently bought fuel at Morrisons petrol station in Horndean. As for express checkouts, it depends what you have really. They are very handy in some circumstances but it depends how busy the supermarket is at the time. The one that irritates me is when you get in the shortest queue behind 1 person who has done the weekly shop, almost all the items get scanned through, and then the husband/daughter arrives with an armful of stuff and plonks it down. Just as you think the wait is over. . . .
