it just seems that by signing players like Kitson and Lawrence AA/Chainrai endgame appears to be liquidation, but stripping whatever assets they can out of the club first over a long period of time To me it seems that they are deliberately making the CVA unworkable for their own ends

IMO he's an idiot even to get remotely involved in a situation like this where he could get arrested, considering his high profile status. Still, we don't know if he is guilty or not. Regardless, I hope this incident is used as an example for the rest of the squad and it can all be put in the past pretty quickly. If I were Adkins I would play him against Tranmere (subject to whether he's being detained or not and also fitness) and tell him he owes us Saints fans big, and the best way to make it up to us is on the pitch.

been playing it on expert mode, to me it seems to be near impossible with a PS3 controller, the throttle is either off or fully on, meaning you have to be ultra cautious out of corners. Is a sterring wheel/pedals a vital investment?

It's a lot of fun, and more arcadey. I've done a qualifying session where we all had 20 mins to post our quickest time and I came first by 0.005 of a second. I then ended up having to do a qualifying session at Monza in the wet in a Hispania. Absolutely impossible, managed to wheelspin at 120mph and spin in a straight line. We then did a load of 3 lap races at various different circuits including monaco where we ended up having a 14 car pile up at the first corner which my mate somehow managed to get through. Because it totally blocked the track he ended up winning by nearly a lap by the time everyone had sorted themselves out and were pointing in the right direction.
