I probably should have quoted the post I was aiming this at. I'm mainly getting at the point that he's not in contention at Reading. It seemed like he could perform for us but couldn't perform for them. Therefore, if he was to come back, maybe, he would turn it on again for us. Obviously that is a big maybe and probably not worth it. Maybe Crawley would be a good loan for him!

Saw Antonio playing for Reading against Torquay. Wasn't half as good as I saw him play for Saints, and against lower opposition than he played against in L1. Just didn't look the same player at all. For the record, I would love to see him back at Saints.

Just posted on the Hudds forum to give my two cents. I was greeted, somewhat to my surprise, with some hostility. Not really bothered about that, just had to laugh at the fact that they seemed to think it was a loss for us. They loved it as they saw that Adkins was annoyed, without actually reading the article to find out why. Just had to laugh at it.

God forbid there be an atmosphere at games. We should definitely just stick with the following: Do do do do Do do do do He plays on the left...... etc etc Other such rehashes I can't be bothered to type. The only good songs we have are Rickie's song and Fonte's song. And even Rickie's isn't original and Fonte's is pretty basic and dull. I love the Poznan. But it has to be done properly. City don't quite have it, but at least they're trying. It would look great if a whole stand did it. But who cares about that when we can hit the backboards and sing 'Oh when the Saints' all out of time.....

It's a strange feeling I have about him. It's frustrating that he does this for other teams and not us. I just don't understand it. But, I really don't care if he comes back or not. Of course, ideally I would like him to return and be great for us. But I can't see that happening. Probably best for everyone if he annoys Blackpool fans now.

Haha. They should have picked some more convincing clubs. I'm still undecided about him. In most of the games I've seen him play he will misplace a few passes but then play a brilliant through ball. Bit up and down. Similar to Chaplow in that sense.

I can't believe the madness of close season has already started. We need football to stop the awful speculation and rumour from driving us crazy. Surprised to see it's started already.

All home league games except Colchester back in September (I think). Lucky that was a boring 0-0. Plus, Man Utd and Blackpool in the FA Cup.

Saints have exceeded my expectations for the past two seasons. Last season, with the -10, I said I would have been happy if we scraped survival and didn't go down again. In reality we finished only a few points outside the playoffs with a JPT win and a good FA Cup run. This season I was a bit pessimistic after a poor pre season and the pressure of the favourites tag. This wasn't helped by a poor start to the season and the sacking of AP. At this point I would have been more than happy with playoffs. In reality we went on one hell of a run and finished a close second (in the end). So, in the NPC I'm pretty much expecting mid table in the first season. So hopefully that means playoffs!

I really like Umbro as a kit suppiler. Man City have Umbro also and I really like the simple design of their current shirt. Not a fan of Nike or Adidas. Van Der Sar, Szczesny and Valdes all have the same tiger armed GK strip as their teams shirts are all Nike. If we had them we would look the same as so many others. Really like some of the above designs.
