Strange how differently people see things. Thought Hooiveld was ok. Would like to see more of him. Not enough to make a proper judgement. And I thought Fox played quite well. Looked very attack minded and went forward well.
The 'on loan till January' part only serves to make this slightly more disappointing.
Ah well, hopefully I'll eat my words and be telling everyone I know he'd be a good signing in a few months time.
Think about it.
Of course Fontaine's agent is going to deny it. He's not going to tell people that his player has an injury problem. How will he sell him if people know that? It's obvious it was because of his ankle as neither the agent or the club gave any other explanation for it falling through.
Umm...possibly to gauge how plausible the rumour is.
Eg. Heard it from a personal friend who is a football agent.
Overheard it in a pub
I suppose you never question anything you hear.
Good point.
I did think it was a risk using all subs so early. But it was a brave decision.
I'm sorry to do this but it bugs the living hell out of me.
"Davis could have got injured..."
"which would have left us down to ten men."
I've not seen Saints play this season but I'm going on Saturday. Really looking forward to seeing him play but I'm a bit concerned with the amount of game time he's getting. I know Guly is playing well but De Ridder seems to only be getting 20 mins at the most in league games. Would really like to see more of him.
I assumed they picked the most exciting matches to go first. Surely if the top team has a snore draw and there's a 4-4 draw at the bottom they will choose the latter over the former.
Ever since we fell to that level I've taken an interest in all football leagues. And yes, I still follow League 1, 2, BSS, BSN, BSP.
If you're a football fan you will follow anything.
I reckon it will be a draw anyway. Last time we played them at home it was the most frustrating match I'd ever watched.
We took a fairly early lead and had to hold on for the whole game. Also, we had one disallowed for no good reason and Leeds really lived up to their dirty reputation.
