  1. Someone's looking for a bite
  2. Panic over, thank God for that.
  3. Guess a few would have prefered this Adidas design? http://www.safc.com/news/club-news/2013/july/home-kit-gallery
  4. "The Travel Club" still sounds like an OAPs bingo trip to Eastbourne.
  5. I think I read on this thread that Adidas set the prices but Swansea, who's shirt is the same template, costs £45 Adults, £35 Kids.
  6. http://www.soccerdirectfc.co.uk/adidas-tiro-13-short-sleeve-shirt#.Uc1apsu9KSM £11.25
  7. I reckon if we use the away shorts and socks with the home shirt we could look like Man Utd. That would please the Far East markets!
  8. Tut, tut. Still got a stack of them up in the roof, brilliant original fanzine in its day. Got a bit entrenched in politics towards the end with PM and RC but always a pleasure walking to the Dell knowing a new edition was out. Regular contributor Hugh Jardon posts on here occassionally too. Note to self, must dig out and have a read
  9. Potentially another Ali Dia moment. IF true and if you want one get in quick as this would obviously only apply to the first batch of the kit launch rumoured to be this weekend. NC may certainly get his "queues around the stadium"
  10. Well, you say "£47" but over on the UI they're saying they've run out of time to put aap on the shirts and so are going to sell them complete with aap 'iron-on' logo and knocking £1.50 off the price for doing so. Don't know how true that is but I'm sure most who are likely to buy it will be far happier buying a 'sponsorless' one (ditch the logo) and £1.50 back in the pocket!
  11. "Jordan: The season ticket sales are knocking 6,000 already" Just over 5k then.
  12. They start and finish against the 2 sides that will probably take the biggest away supports to FP - that will help fill their ground for them. Fixtures helping them out again to give them a strong financial start like they did last year home to Bournemouth, someone's looking after them. It'll be "look at these crowds we get in this division, we're sleeping giants", then the following paltry attendances will never get mentioned again.
  13. What happened the last time we had Man U home last day in the Premier League? Payback time, do you think we could send them down?
  14. Ahem, I don't think you're allowed to say "coloureds" these days. He's right about that "have a banana" though, quite catchy too
  15. All depends on whether or not the TV cameras are going to be outside for them to tell the world how "loyal, passionate and massive" they are.
  16. We stayed nearer the main strip but prefered the short taxi ride to the Old Town at night, the only thing I'd disagree with TCM is that (and we did go in August a few years back) it was bustling in the evening - in a good way. It seemed the Brits congregated more around the strip while the Old Town was a bit more cosmopolitan. Loads of places to eat around the central square and all the lanes off of it, always something going on. You'll pay a bit more in the fish resturaunts that face onto Fisherman's Beach, nice setting though. We had to queue a bit for a taxi to get back later but nothing too bad. Having said that, the strip is family friendly, the kids will probably enjoy the buzz. The water park we went to was a bit further along the coast but I think that was the closest.
  17. Actually, I had a look, that crane is 92m high, over 300ft, the Echo weren't too far out with their "150ft" - well it's only twice the height!
  18. Well let's hope so. That was their original first team colour kit and they do like a bit of tradition down there. And their nickname back in those days was 'The Shrimps'. Never has a name been more appropriate. All sounds a bit fishy, but true story.
  19. They may have caught up but they're doing that mush a disservice, that's a 27 storey building going up, that crane stands taller. There's no way it's only 150ft, he's got to be over 250ft up there!
  20. I think you're a 'loan' in thinking that tbh.
  21. Love these iconic images of Ron 'hanging' in the air. Scored 2 on my first visit to the Dell - a legendary No.9. Enduring memories.
  22. Yeah, but it works the other too to be fair, all those "scuuummaaaaahs" who liked to wear Sondico will now have to discard................oh, hang on.
  23. Me too. Adidas Beckenbauer Super my first pair of screw-in studs boots. An extortionate £5 something or other from Connor and Mitchell in St Marys.
