  1. You spout so much moronic carp that I thought I would copy you.
  2. Sir Alf Ramsey
  3. That could very well apply to internationally famous big clubs but surely not so very much at a small club like we were told Southampton are. Don't forget the manager spent time at Liverpool so perhaps the "victim card" has rubbed off and attached itself to him and that's why he doesn't seem to want to win matches but only tries for not losing? Relegation and then getting the sack would make a big "victim" of him. .
  4. To all those who appear to hope that Saints stay up because of M.P. may I remind them of the saying "It's the hope that kills you/them"
  5. Look the only obvious age group that should be allowed to vote are Teenagers, whilst they still know it all about everything.
  6. Some people say that M.P. is a clown well I think that both of the owners are much bigger clowns as it is them who are risking their money by doing nothing. Anyone in China, indeed Asia in general, who knows about English football must be laughing their heads off at Mr Gao and it wouldn't surprise me in the least if someone started a twitter thing with the #LALAG ( Lets all laugh at Gao )
  7. Over here Rugby and even Cricket seems to be more popular than Football but I like to wind them up by telling Kiwis, when asked about All Blacks Rugby etc, that I find it an instant cure for insomnia. Well they do insist on calling Football soccer and try and say "going to the football" is about Rugby Union and Rugby League.
  8. Unless of course they deliberately wait until it's too late for the selling club to get a replacement. They could also offer a figure and or payment terms that they know will be rejected. They can then say that they have at least tried and that will keep the happy clappers from becoming too upset.
  9. To be fair to LR ( and I don't like saying that very much ) I doubt if he had the authority to agree to the fee up front rather than via installments. That would be purely down to the almost invisible and silent owner as it's his money.
  10. YES !!! As much as I want M.P. out I love a Saints win even if he is still the manager. .
  11. Now that name ( Amy ) brings back many memories
  12. So why on earth don't they ignore Pellegrino then and play like they know what to do even though he doesn't??? Surely there is someone in the team who will stand up and show enough is enough or are they all as thick as Pellegrino???
  13. :mcinnes: :mcinnes: :mcinnes:
  14. If you listen to and believe the happy clapper morons (and I don't ) who gladly accept any crap from the management side then Saints will end up in the top half. However if you listen to normal fans who actually care about Saints they can see major faults that are very dangerous. So how come then if normal but plain old amateur football fans can see this why can't the over paid professionals who make all the decisions? Also how come one of the millionaires who actually kick the ball don't just take control on the pitch and ignore what the manager says and actually try and win the bloody games? Perhaps they listen to the happy clappers and so point blank refuse to see any problems? I think that for the rest of this season the happy clappers, owners and management should all be represented by this :mcinnes:
  15. The biggest questions from me are, assuming Silva would even be interested in the job are:- 1. Would Les etc want him as Silva seems a strong minded character who would want his own way? 2. Would Les etc allow him to do things his way without interference from Les? 3. Would he be allowed to get rid of the present lot of back room staff? .
  16. I think that there is more chance of getting the Pope into St Marys and him blessing the stadium and team than there is of this Saints management/owners lot sacking M.P. To sack him now would mean admitting that they were hopelessly wrong and no one with a big ego likes to admit that. He will go at the end of the season with a joint statement from the club and M.P. saying that he has a family problem so is unable to stay. Saints will the add that they now have their sights set on a manager experienced with getting a team promotion back to the PL. How well this will all work out depends on who else from the whole management side retires, but I won't hold my breath that any will. .
  17. In the BBC article it says "Walcott is also enticed by the prospect of Toffees manager Sam Allardyce helping to reignite his career." Looks like he has no confidence in M.P. etc. doing the same for him then?
  18. Ah but when you are employed by a circus the clowns are very important in regard to your fate.
  19. A point away from home means that the Board can still hide their heads in the sand and still keep MP. It's the p poor tactics and the lack of ability to quickly adapt to the other teams subs that hurt, not just the odd bad call against. IF Saints played with better ideas etc one goal wouldn't make much of a difference as by then Saints would have had the game put away well before then. But then again this is just what "Small Clubs" do isn't it? .
  20. So they are planning for the Championship already...wouldn't it be better to start planning how to actually stay up and then act on those plans NOW rather than just drift along??? Mind you this is what "Small Clubs" do so we shouldn't perhaps be that surprised?.
  21. Half Time will be 0 - 0 Full Time will be 0 - 1
  22. I gave up after 3 minutes as the background noise ( music??? ) meant I couldn't hear what was being said.
  23. I am gradually beginning to think he better stay until the summer and then take a look. I can't think of another manager, who could do so much better, even wanting to take over at the moment.I also don't think that the Board are competent enough to find a replacement anyway but if they did LR would once again look much better than I think that he is. Summer is the time for a major clear-out whether still in the PL or Championship.
  24. IF this young man signs then I hope fans give him a chance as surely the law of averages says MP must get something right sometime soon?
  25. I know that this is about computers but I thought lots more people would see it here rather than in the technical forum part. "Meltdown is an attack on the general memory data security of computers with the Intel x86 architecture. Two members of the founder team of Cyberus Technology GmbH were among the first experts to discover this vulnerability. This article describes how Meltdown actually works and also examines the mitigations that have been patched into the most widespread operating systems while the information embargo was still intact". http://blog.cyberus-technology.de/posts/2018-01-03-meltdown.html
