Forster Trending On Twitter For Being Sh!ite
Saint in Paradise replied to Gemmel's topic in The Saints
Big snag to that is that the match is not actually played in the dressing room but on something called a pitch. Also any player can be good once or twice a season but Saints need players who are good/excellent at least 90% of the time. ( Sorry ) -

Some seem to think that it is Theo's choice to return, even if it's for less money, but I wonder IF his agent would allow it?

Terrorist Attacks - WARNING: CONTAINS DISTRESSING IMAGES
Saint in Paradise replied to sadoldgit's topic in The Lounge
Well some of the NFL players at the Monday night game between Washington and Kansas sure showed their hatred ( of goodness what in this case ) by either refusing to stand up or hold their hand on their hearts during a minutes silence for the victims. -
I don't know why all the moaners are complaining so much.Saints are not yet quite in the worst 3 in the PL, it's not their personal Bank accounts being raided and that money being spent. If Saints do get relegated remember how some on here are always saying how much they enjoyed fighting for promotion to the PL. Saints management etc know much more about Football than us mere plebs so we should all just shut up and accept what we are given and if that means woeful football tough luck on us.

You might remember this. Then President, Obama was the first to disrespect the Flag and the Anthem.....

A time to kneel Written by Ted Nugent Take a little trip to Valley Forge in January. Hold a musket ball in your fingers and imagine it piercing your flesh and breaking a bone or two There won't be a doctor or trainer to assist you until after the battle, so just wait your turn. Take your cleats and socks off to get a real experience. Then take a knee. Then, take a knee on the beach in Normandy where man after American man stormed the beach, even as the one in front of him was shot to pieces .. the very sea stained with American blood. The only blockers most had were the dead bodies in front of them, riddled with bullets from enemy fire. Take a knee in the sweat soaked jungles of Vietnam From Khe San to Saigon ... anywhere will do. Americans died in all those jungles. There was no playbook that told them what was next, but they knew what flag they represented. When they came home, they were protested as well, and spit on for reasons only cowards know. Take another knee in the blood drenched sands of Fallujah in 110 degree heat .. Wear your Kevlar helmet and battle dress. Your number won't be printed on it unless your number is up! You'll need to stay hydrated but there won't be anyone to squirt Gatorade into your mouth. You're on your own. There are a lot of places to take a knee where Americans have given their lives all over the world When you use the banner under which they fought as a source for your displeasure, you dishonor the memories of those who bled for the very freedoms you have That's what the red stripes mean. It represents the blood of those who spilled a sea of it defending your liberty. While you're on your knee, pray for those that came before you, not on a manicured lawn striped and printed with numbers to announce every inch of ground taken ... but on nameless hills and bloodied beaches and sweltering forests and bitter cold mountains .. every inch marked by an American life lost serving that flag you protest. No cheerleaders, no announcers, no coaches, no fans ... just American men and women ... delivering the real fight against those who chose to harm us ... blazing a path so you would have the right to "take a knee." You haven't any inkling of what it took to get you where you are ... but your "protest" is duly noted. Not only is it disgraceful to a nation of real heroes, it serves the purpose of pointing to your ingratitude for those who chose to defend you under that banner that will still wave long after your jersey is retired. If you really feel the need to take a knee, come with me to church on Sunday and we'll both kneel before Almighty God. We'll thank Him for preserving this country for as long as He has. We'll beg forgiveness for our ingratitude for all He has provided us. We'll appeal to Him for understanding and wisdom. We'll pray for liberty and justice for all...because He is the one who provides those things. But there will be no protest. There will only be gratitude for His provision and a plea for His continued grace and mercy on the land of the free and the home of the brave. It goes like this ... GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

No sooner had Southgate named his squad for next month's qualifiers with Slovenia and Lithuania on Thursday than he was admitting to selecting individuals not worthy of a place in the 26-strong party. I wonder who he was talking about?

That post by Turkish has to be a serious contender for post of the month.

With all the Corbynmania of the true believers in Brighton it is often forgotten that Labour lost the general election against the worst campaigning Tory leader in living memory. It is worth reminding those outside the Brighton bubble that most voters still rate him behind ‘Don’t Know’ as the best Prime Minister.

As I can only judge by what I see on TV rather than most of you who watch him live I will refrain for saying what I think in fairness to him. However I would like to ask a question, as some seem to say that he has potential but which hasn't seemed to progress very much if at all, would, if he was a young lad in the academy who never seemed to fulfil his potential, he be offered a full contract? IF the answer is Yes then fine keep playing him regardless but IF the answer is No perhaps he should be let go so that he could move to a team in a lower league.

Saints v Palace Match Thread and Reactions
Saint in Paradise replied to St Chalet's topic in The Saints
I think that more people post when Saints lose because they really care about the team. They are very upset and so give their ideas about what they think went wrong and how matters should be improved. However when Saints win everything is great in their world and so they don't feel the same compulsion to post using the theory of "if it ain't broke don't fix it". . -
That kind of over spending ( some might call it original cost under estimating ) seems to happen rather a lot in other companies as well. It can get even worse when Public money is involved and I can't remember if a Govt. awarded contract has ever come in below estimate, e.g. the two new aircraft carriers and aircraft. .

Not just in this thread but in one or two others, if I remember correctly, people have said how much fitter the players seemed in the past. They then tend to blame the coaches for this rather than the players. Well to me I find it almost impossible to believe that these players don't have enough personal or professional pride to get themselves fitter. They must know their condition is not good enough so it's about time they did something about it themselves, or do they want a pay increase to help them? The ordinary bloke playing in a pub team can soon realise when something isn't working and will try to alter things during the game so how come these full time "professionals" won't try something themselves? Are they so mollycoddled ( stupid even? ) that they have to be told that they can breathe air? .

IMHO this situation has all been a long term plan by the Chinese that has now blown up in their face. They do not want U.S. forces right on their border, a bit like the Russians don't like NATO troops near theirs. Why either major country is worried by the West I have no clear idea as History has shown that invading Russia is one of the most stupid idiotic ideas ever thought of. Invading China would be just as gormless, they aren't a small country who couldn't fight back like Iraq couldn't. It appears that China wants a buffer zone between themselves and South Korea hence why they 100% support North Korea. I am sure that in the past they could indeed have quietly controlled NK but these days they are not so able to do so. So much so that I think that now they are even a bit scared of NK and don't know what to do seeing as NK is a threat to China. The Chinese thought that they were being so clever but Oops they have backed themselves into a corner and are not sure how to get out of it without losing "Face". They cannot be shown to openly support the U.S. by threatening force against NK. So they have waited too long now and whether they like it or not the U.S. might just say stuff you China, your arrogant stupidity has left us no choice. On a side note I wonder how many so called world leaders would pass the U.K. test to become a licenced firearm holder? I can't really think of one and yet they are allowed to have control of world ending weapons.

I went to the doctor's the other day at my wife's request and found out my new family doctor is a young female & drop-dead gorgeous. I was embarrassed but she said, "Don't worry, I'm a professional -I've seen it all before. Just tell me what's wrong and I'll check it out." I said, "My wife thinks my penis tastes like strawberries." ( Yeah rite, I wish )

Fraser Forster is he at the level we require?
Saint in Paradise replied to Mr X's topic in The Saints
This could be an excellent idea but as FF insists that he only listens to 5 other people would he actually listen to, absorb and act upon any advice? I somehow suspect not as some PL players let their ego be a massive obstruction to constructive criticism. -
Yes.

I better not post some of my thoughts on this situation except to say that even Saints merging with Portsmouth wouldn't get to me as much. http://metro.co.uk/2017/08/13/trangender-mum-and-pansexual-dad-raising-child-in-britains-first-gender-fluid-family-6848824/ .

The despots who are in control of NK abused their people by using starvation, imprisonment and revenge murders long before any sanctions were put in place. It has been alleged by excellent sources that in the past food sent for the poor ended up feeding the NK armed forces elite. Also it is alleged that the elite still manage to freely obtain whatever food etc that they want with help from other countries who secretly ignore the sanctions They almost started a war when they sank that small SK warship, they got away with it so now they are just pushing harder to see what happens. I can't make up my mind about China as to whether they are controlling this NK aggression or they are afraid of NK and its lunatic Govt. NK missiles with a nuclear weapon could cause a lot of damage to China before China could respond.

Re being targetted by a pickpocket.... No sensible person carries a lot of cash these days I hope. I know that I don't. Ref a Bank getting robbed well they are insured and MY money will be safe whereas when this new system gets robbed tough luck YOU lose Your money. Ref the financial world advancing well yes it is but is it really advancing safely? I have my doubts as it appears to me that it is actually getting easier to steal these days. Banks never openly admit to being a victim of fraud as it would be bad for their image and customer confidence. Now as bad as that situation is I still have much more confidence in a Bank than with some system associated with this lastest fad. Well at least we appear to agree on one thing and that is don't gamble unless you can afford or don't want to lose if it all goes wrong. Well said OldNick in his post above this one.
