Saints 1-2 Wolves - Match Thread
Saint in Paradise replied to Football Special's topic in The Saints
All those who wish to lumber Rusk and Lallana with taking over....what have they done to you that you dislike them so much? 😁 -
So he is in the latest England squad but will he get a game this year?

He is only worth what another team will pay to sign him. It doesn't matter a stuff what Saints paid and quite frankly i doubt any team would offer more than one million, probably even less.

I just wonder as I have not seen him post for a while.

Saints have now been around for 140 years and for a smidgen over 50% of those 140 years ( 71 ) I have followed them through thick and thin. However I have now reached the stage where I am feeling rather indifferent towards them. I am sad, shocked and disappointed with myself for feeling this way because I never thought that that would ever be possible. When Mr Liebherr bought Saints I got my sign in name changed as I though that at last Saints had an owner who would take the Club to the heights that I could only dream of, and for a while that seemed possible. Alas we all know that dream has now crashed and burned. I hope that next season I will recover my enthusiasm but ......

I saw Pink Floyd live at the Hollywood Bowl in September 1972.

Well with the way things are at the moment I would be a tad OK if that happens. What I don't want is to end up in the same situation as Luton are. I really don't want League One ever again.

Well think yourselves lucky, at least YOU didn't get up at 10 minutes to four o'clock this Sunday morning just to be rewarded with that load of rubbish. ( NZ time is 13 hours ahead of UK time )

These types of fires major from Lithium-ion batteries are increasing, 2 in California, 1 in Melbourne and now Poland. All of these are in 2025 oh yes and I saw yesterday that a lot of EV Vans need an HGV licence as they are so heavy and need an M.O.T. every year from a specialist M.O.T. testing station. The normal ones are unable to do one.

I heard a TV match commentator on Monday say that JWP is now back with West Ham.

Not when you are married and had a winning argument with your wife, it's always better to let her "win" 😁 Plus a great win today !!!

Quote "but he's no worse or better than any of our other defenders." Well sorry but that isn't as good a statement as the OP might think as let's face it the standard is pretty low. I have been told by a couple of mates who support other teams that it's only top of League One standard.

How much more humilation is enough?

Saints will beat Newcastle 2 - 1 so that will help. -
Well I kind of enjoy the postings from the C.O.T. people, I say kind of because I am too old and dim to actually translate the clues into a name.😁 I just have to wait until it's in the media or someone on here spills the beans.

Well at least they got that part right. 🤬

I am sorry to say that I don't have enough confidence that Saints management are up to the task suggested by OnceaSaintalwaysaSaint. However I wish the lad well on whatever path he decides to take.
