  1. Blimey. Tough game tonight I reckon. Hope the old heads are on form and the young lads are up for the fight
  2. Armstrong good at times but at others he makes the wrong choice with his passes. Gets a lot of the ball though and is a good outlet for turning possession into attack, especially on the counter... Ings looks a little rusty still - needs one to go in off his arse. Well done Theo, very well taken goal. Arsenal are starting to press us into mistakes though, we need to be wary of that.
  3. Bit nervy about this! Don't know why at all. We've got ourselves in a really good position in the table. We should be able to keep it up, shouldn't we? Come on Danny and Che!
  4. How many have Sheffield Utd conceded on average per game? Not sure we'll score 'a few'
  5. Love to see Arsenal getting turned over. Brilliant stuff.
  6. Exceptional save.
  7. Still been poor. 😄😅😅😂🤣
  8. How poor has Armstrong been tonight? So bad. All the wrong choices, really.
  9. SRL for longevity and absolute brilliance. Ings is perhaps a level above in the PL but needs to do it for longer to elevate himself above SRL's legend status, which will take some beating. Both SRL and KOTS offer so much more than their goals, too.
  10. Brilliantly summarised and matches my view on the game.
  11. Wouldn't you say similar of Mr Walcott, though?
  12. Perhaps I've got my wires crossed!
  13. Is he still a bit dim, Theo? Or has his intellect grown over the years. I always recall his interviews as being very similar to what Luke Shaw's are now.
  14. Yep, he will get fed up eventually. How frustrating to not be able to secure the players you want - we're not talking obscene amounts of money here, either, in current terms.
  15. Don't worry, that's definitely not a racial stereotype. On Diallo - he looks a good prospect. Give him time I'm sure he'll be a good fit.
  16. Perhaps they'll play Vydra and Rodriguez, both easily outpacing our defenders.
  17. Exactly this. There has been little change in terms of overall quality, and our bench is bereft of any meaningful ways to positively change a game. What a tired and weak performance. Our defence is limited, is centrally poor at reading the game and has very little pace, so why highlight that by playing a high line? I very much doubt there will be enough investment to improve our midfield spine and the way in which we attack opponents, so Hassenhuttl will have to somehow pull something off to get our players to perform at a higher level as a team.... What a shambles.
  18. That bench ... 😖
  19. Brentford had players isolating due to COVID19 and had sold their best attackers, yet still managed to brush us aside. I see no reason why an early wake up would stop Kane and Son tearing our weak defence apart. 0-3 to Spuds.
  20. Its the lack of guile and creativity that worries me most. All a side has to do these days against our boys is put 10 men behind the ball - we have no answers, no plan B.
  21. Outplayed and absolutely outclassed. Embarrassing performance.
  22. This is an horrific endictment of our limited squad.

    Guly

Hmmm, I hope all is well with Guilherme. Seems like a lovely chap, I hope this isn't as foreboding as it seems...
  24. Good luck to the man. Dedicated, level headed and extremely professional. As a player he always put in a shift (thinking of his empassioned slide tackle in the dying minutes at Fratton Park), and deserves a chance to test himself at Spurs. Not amazingly dynamic or forward-thinking, mainly opting for a short sideways or backwards pass, but good at breaking up play at high tempo. Best of luck to him. If Romeu can keep the decent standard post-lockdown I hope we won't really notice Hojbjerg's absence.
  25. I get quite excited by the prospect of Saints dipping into the talented pool of Championship players, perhaps even more so than talented players from leagues abroad.
