Presumably Yoshida will be back next week in place of that bloody liability Stephens. Have been saying for the past two years he isn’t good enough and would probably make an average holding midfield player. But as for CB - forget it !

Well I have more faith in Charlie scoring the odd important goal than I do Moi or Gallagher. If it’s 0-0 v Cardiff and Austin is sent on with 15 mins left and scores the only goal of the game all of a sudden he will be a bloody hero to the ones who write him off as crap

Funny how we all see the same game differently. I thought Valery was good, Romeu was our best player and JWP was ok. Stephens was shocking, Hojbjerg strangely off form, Redmond and Ings marked out of it by Palace.

He’s a goal scorer, if you play a system where all he has to do is get his arse in the penalty box at every opportunity he will score goals. Doesn’t surprise me if four clubs are in for him.

I must say I like the look of Johnson against Derby. Put in some decent crosses. Shame he got booked and taken off half time. Valery will be good, would like to see Hesketh given a chance, same with Sims. Obafemi will be good if he works on his finishing and, going by what Ralph said, his fitness too. I’m really not sure about Gallagher and Slattery. Admittedly only seen bits and pieces of them but if Ralph thinks they are good enough that will do me.
