This is my worry unfortunately. Still hope for the best. Would like to see Sims involved, a player with genuine pace who is pretty direct.

FA Cup Qtr Final Saints v Wigan or Man City AWAy
beatlesaint replied to John Boy Saint's topic in The Saints
Man City losing to Wigan has really screwed up things for BT and BBC. And to think the draw fell so well with all four top teams avoiding each other -
Didnt he state that he wanted to be closer to his family in London as one of his reasons for leaving ? If so he does realise that China is a bloody long way from London
-
How good do you think Saints squad is?
beatlesaint replied to Bit of a plonker's topic in The Saints
I think the squad is no better or worse than a mid table Premier League squad so anything between 8th and 14th. It is nowhere near as good as the squads that Pochettino and Koeman had and the fault for that lies solely with those who run the club. -

Nope of course it isn't fair but apparently nobody in authority seems to care. -
Bring back four Saints players and a manager to save our season.
beatlesaint replied to norwaysaint's topic in The Saints
Pochettino as manager with the players being Le Tissier Van Djyk Steve Williams Channon McCarthy Cedric, Van Dyjk, Hoedt, Bertrand Lemina, Williams, Romeu Le Tissier, Channon, Austin -
I expect it’s already been picked as the tv bods would have assumed City would beat Wigan
-
If Redmond is vital to our survival then we are ****ed.
-
yep, he was on a hiding to nothing from that point on, especially when it became obvious that he will never be a striker.

On the plus side by the time we go to Swansea for the rearranged league match they might be safe and not care :-D -
still at least a month away
-
ive been waiting all fkin season for them to play well, I’m just wondering why anyone would want Redmond to be a regular again when he’s ****e
-
Why ?
-
as Boufal is injured that’s no surprise. I mean the alternative is Gabbiadini which would mean two up front and we can’t be having that. Big game for Redmond, if he’s ****e today we may not see him start another game this season
-
Fully expect to see Davis, Yoshida, Redmond and possibly Gabbiadini and maybe Forster given a run out tomorrow.

Pellegrino: Under Pressure Footballers are taking Sleeping Pills
beatlesaint replied to yellow&blue's topic in The Saints
you are making an almighty assumption that these players give a **** about Southampton. This isn’t 1958 when players actually stayed with a club and played for them through good and bad. If we get relegated most of these buggers will shrug their shoulders, get their agents to find them a club with a nice little signing on fee to go with it and they will be gone. Only those not good enough will be left. Don’t paint them as people who care about Southampton and the supporters. If they did then they would have won more than five league games this season despite Coco the clown managing them. -

Saturday evenings - 7.45 kick off.......... ridiculous

This will be fun...get those applications in..
beatlesaint replied to saint lard's topic in The Saints
Absolutely, my match day experience usually takes a downward spiral when the ref blows the whistle for kick off ! -
Yes people unfairly slag off Adam Blackmore for not asking the right questions but if you listen to his interviews he does his best to ask what people want answers to. He has to bear in mind however that if the club think he is hounding the manager or making a mug of him live on air they can make things very difficult for him/Solent. I'm amazed they get away with Merrington calling him tactically inept as he has on at least two occasions to be honest.
-
Do you honestly believe a team that has won 5 out of 27 league matches will suddenly win 3 of the next 5 ? I hope we do obviously but it’s a big big ask especially given the clueless **** in charge
-
Who the hell are the 10 people that have voted to back him ? Have you been living in a ****ing cave ?
