How many years has someone said that this season will be his break through year ? Every manager he’s had has tried to find a place for him only to end up benching him again eventually, most sooner rather than later. If there is more to him than being the go to dead ball specialist then I’m still to see it.

think it’s more that it’s three times in 60 days, each progressively worse then ignoring the letters that come with the fines etc. but of course if you want to miss the point knock yourself out.....or stand somewhere near Lemina driving maybe ?

wouldnt call the window utterly disastrous - it’s half job done would be my take - but otherwise spot on, esp agree with the Bournemouth spending which really does make us look small fry.

always do the Happiness Tax - defeat and a draw - so if we win i dont care about losing money obviously but if we fail then at least it goes someway to paying for the season ticket/fuel etc. I won a lot last season

He wasn’t. By the time he came on it was game, set and match to BM. They just went through the motions in searing heat. Please don’t turn Yoshida into some kind of saviour or super hero. He is adequate but always has a mistake in him that usually proves costly. I think the new guy will prove to be our best CB but only time will tell.

that can’t be planned surely ? Portugal were knocked out the World Cup on 30th June. Even allowing travel time etc that’s over a month, that’s more holiday than anyone else in the squad isn’t it ?

well, one was a keeper who hasn’t played, one was a Celtic midfielder that I’m not 100% sure we needed, one came on at half time and one went off just after half time..... .but of course if you need to judge their value and worth to the team based on about 40 mins go for it !
