Without dwelling on them I'm not so sure you are correct there. They had to go up really given their financial position and the wages of a lot of their players. Half that team wont be there next season, they have a big job on their hands.

yes i agree, I can understand Oxford etc doing it after winning promotion to Pompey's league for the first time in years but it might have been a bit over the top for us after just a season.

Would the fee for KWP not go some way towards keeping those two....or one at least If they really want to stay and their clubs dont want them ? I mean THB would probably be easier given a fee has been agreed. Everyone seems to have access to the SR accounts to judge what the club will or wont have to spend..... 😕
