I think he will be at his best if he just stands in the middle and gets his head to everything that comes into the box. When he was a third of the way up the pitch it seemed to take him a lifetime to get back into position.....in fact a couple of times he turned in installments !! But having said that, he's bound to be rusty and I think he will prove to be a great signing.

It really defies belief doesn't it ? I thought he looked like he will be a handfull for most defences in this league.

Echo web site has the info - AP says he is about 3 weeks away. Now I really hope this proves to be true for two reasons - the most obvious being that he looks a fine player and his experience helps the others, the second being that it will shoot down in flames all the drama queens who shouted "conspiracy - career over - they aren't telling us, blah blah blah"

He was better than Jake Thompson. Towards the end several times James and Spiderman had the chance to pass to him and didnt bother. I can understand why.

Well said......6 games into a completely new regime and set up and already the shots are being fired. The team is still being built (2 new players sat in the stands yesterday) and gelling, and sorry but this takes time in any sport or occupation for that matter. To realists this was always going to be the season of steady re-build readying ourselves for an onslaught next season.

From all the problems that surrounded him with refusing to play for Wolves when they were relegated from the Prem a few years back I dont think, even without a club, he would lower himself to play in Div. 1. Would love to be wrong and have him here but I cant see it. If we were in the CCC then yeah, maybe, but not Div. 1
