I do hope Leon Crouch doesnt read this forum cos he would think to himself "why do I ****in bother" I cannot believe that a man gives the club a loan, or whatever it is, to pay the staff and keep the club going for another few weeks, therefore giving the administrator longer to find a buyer, and still gets slagged off by some people on here. It defies ****in belief, it really does !!!!!

Could it be that they dont really care about a League One team who, according to the statement by Fry are still in talks with possible buyers ? Its the most important thing in the world to many of us, football wise, at the moment, but to Sky Sports it doesnt quite rank up there with Rooney sneezed twice this morning does it ?

Be very interested to see what the legal situation is yeah. I suppose the question at present would be who decides how much the season tickets will be ? Will possible new investors be happy with the pricing policy, some may say its too low, some may say its too high if trying to generate extra sales given we have been relegated. So it would be another factor to write into any possible bids i assume.

yes of course he was entitiled to a wage, but £1,000 a day is how it worked out for a 2 day week part time job......and is £40,000 a year more than the head coach was on for a full time job !!! That is obscene. The fact JP was no bloody good is irrelevant, RL didnt know that when he appointed him. Least we now know why Pearson was sacked...Lowe wanted some of his salary : - )

According to the Echo website they have "exclusively" revealed to them their 5 year plan for getting Saints back to the premier league. This is the sort of blue print any prospective buyer should have if serious, they are obviously that as, despite some scare mongering from a few drama queens on here, they have not run for the hills as soon as Marc Jackson appeared. As none of us know what has been said in the meetings with the administrator (unless someone has bugged the Board Room at SMS) lets just sit tight and hope for a swift outcome.

Does this thread get a prize for being most ridiculous of the week or something ? Anyone who thinks a multi-millionaire is gonna come in, pump millions into the club and watch us rise back to the Premier League in double quick time is seriously out of touch with reality. Just having a club to support with a little money to strengthen and a manager who knows this league and how to get out of it is the best we can hope for. Lets just be grateful that there are two bids on the table and that Mark Fry and co. are doing their jobs and working towards getting a buyer to keep this club alive. FFS
