I have to say that when i watched that interview and heard him say about football fans living in a dream world I had to seriously question his mental state. I think he has a real problem. How can you accuse groups of people of living in a dream world when 4 months ago he had a brainstorm and presented all shareholders with his Neville Chamberlain moment "i have in my hands a letter" which set the tone for the fury of the whole meeting. Seriously seriously unwell if you ask me.

Its not a case of feeling a twinge of guilt Daren. In the past i along with many have slagged both players off, Euell as recently as the last home game when i thought he was dreadful. As you well know football is all about opinions, this forum is to air those opinions and if slagging off a player or overly praising them is part of that process then so be it. The bottom line is that if this is true these two men have shown what type of characters they are and for that they should rightly be applauded and they deserve the respect of every Saints fan like you and i who are desperate to see our great club not only survive but prosper.

That is what really bothers me, seems he was loyal to Lowe throughout the 2 years he was gone, no other reason for the man who got rid of everyone who said a word against him to keep the guy otherwise. Unlike some who fear the third coming of old beetroot cheeks I dont believe he would have the money...besides he never put anything into this club so why start now ?

Ooo Duncan, I think this is just about the first time i have ever disagreed with what you say. Jones I am sure would have been sacked that season had Lowe not put him on "gardening leave" or whatever you want to call it in order to fight his non case. We were bloody awful that season....now wether thats to do with Jones mind being elsewhere I have no idea obviously but Jones didnt pull up any trees at Wolves and hasnt really at Cardiff. He seems to have one or two good seasons at the most then its let down time. The decline started when those North London yobbos came sniffing around Hoddle...

i really fear that we will be relegated before the last game of the season. Take a step back and apart from that purple patch (and it was only a patch) of 3 wins in a row we have been awful this season. Derby and QPR games underlined that. The 3 straight wins were, not ofr the first time with Southampton, a false dawn. I pray I am wrong.

yesterdsay he had no service whatsoever, not his fault, yet his reward is being taken off while two absolute disgraces ie our nos 15 and 17 somehow stayed on the bloody pitch for the full 90 mins !! Incredible.

Perhaps she is showing that for all her family history with SFC she is just a supporter who shares the same views as the rest of us on the march. A woman who was bought up with her father's mantra about not taking anything out of the club that you cannot put back in. and in fairness, despite him not always being whiter than white in the past it is hard to argue with his sentiments. At least he recognises that the targets should be Askham and Richards etc. They are the ones who need to withdraw their support for Mr Ego and his little toad.
