  1. I am awaiting his humble pie reaction on MOTD later
  2. Pity we can't send all of those teams down but a must for me personally is QPR (for obvious reasons) Reading (They don't belong here) and Stoke (Cos they have been in the Prem long enough and need to produce their own players and stop nicking ours)
  3. Think Fulham's fair play points could take a hammering now as Sidwell sent off tonight
  4. A great watch and insight into what happens behind the scenes, thanks alot
  5. Watching the Sunderland Vs Norwich game on the stream and saw that the Norwich players surrounded the ref and linesman after Sunderlands penalty was awarded, exactly the same situation as Saints against Norwich, hope they hit Norwich with exactly the same level of fine as we got for failing to control there players, Karma is a wonderful thing isn't it Norwich!!!!
  6. I'll be watching both play tomorrow as will you be pal,you tell me who will be the more influential and is the best value for money. For me as it pains me to say it, I doubt it'll be Gaston, He has frustrated many fans by his lack lustre displays even the goals he has scored can't hide the fact he is just not right here, where as Coutinho has been an instant success and cost less money (£4M cheaper than Gaston) Hope i'm eating humble pie after the game and Gaston gets on the scoresheet or plays a blinder this weekend, but I just can't see it happening, even Guly worked harder against Norwich last week when he came on and that says it all.
  7. Wish he'd just f**k off, we should of got Coutinho instead
  8. Maybe it would be better to charge Clattenburg with being a crap ref instead, absolute rubbish, all the players at the supposed big clubs hassle the red all the time on decisions that don't go there way and and managers too just look at Fergie and nothing happens, they all must hate us just like the BBC do
  9. Worth at least £2M that's what they should pay too, can't see Don Cortese allowing him to leave on the cheap
  10. It'll last until the Iranian's have enough uranium and missiles to launch the big one then were all screwed!!!
  11. I'd be concerned about the RB position if I were Mo Po as Clyne has looked awful in the last 2 games, If we go after a replacement LB then Shaw will be leaving the club for certain, Fox was played yesterday only because he was not 100%
  12. As long as Jack Cork stays fit and avoids suspension we should be ok, he has been vital in our resurgence in form
  13. Pocahontas more like, ONLY ONE NIGEL ADKINS!!!! CORTESE OUT!!
  14. Thanks for everything Nigel, you are a top bloke who had time for the supporters too, gutted to see you go
  15. Hope the team are primed for some cheating and diving tonight, can't wait for Jay to go over in the box under Terry's outstretched boot tonight but think its Rickies turn this time, also hope when he bangs in the resultant penalty he puts his finger to his lips in front of the home fans just like he did last weekend in front of the Holt end at Villa
  16. Trust this man to do the right thing, we got 2 promotions in a row with this guy at the helm end of
  17. Seeing as he pays the wages and keeps the club sweet with the Liebherrs then he is entitled to have a say, anyone who says otherwise can either accept it or p*ss off and find another club to support, maybe that club down the road who have no money cos thats where we'd be without good old Nic right now ok
  18. Watched Garth Crooks and Martin Keown throw there toys out of the pram about it on Final Score while watching the match The BBC just hate us for some reason. fact is there was intent by the Villa player to foul Jay and he moved his leg to avoid injury and Halsey gave it for that reason end of story. to say he dived is just ludicrous i'm sure Garth Crooks and Martin Keown have done some questionable thinks in the game before and got away with it. and we deserve a bit of luck from refs for a change too
  19. I'd take no less than 3 end of
  20. Typical BBC anti Saints fodder story trying to make out Jay Rod is unhappy at Saints. It must be a slow day in the transfer window to try and put words in his mouth like that, the BBC have a bit of a problem with Saints it seems
  21. Mark Lawrenson again expects us to lose His verdict below on the match with Villa Villa are a team with a lot of problems but their biggest one is that teams do not have to work hard to create a lot of chances against them. Bradford of League Two did it in the first leg of their Capital One Cup semi-final on Tuesday. Villa were turned over by Wigan in their last home league game game and boss Paul Lambert must be worried that will happen again on Saturday. Saints are not great on the road, but they have got some good forward players and they create a lot of chances. But in a funny way, Tuesday's defeat by Bradford may not have been the worst thing that could have happened to Villa. They can still win that tie for a start. It highlighted all their problems and that can help bring about the right reaction. It was so bad, their players might have lost some of their fear factor and be thinking "come on - whatever we do now, we have got to have a go at everything". Southampton have stuttered a bit in the past few weeks and this game is certainly a winnable one for Villa. Lawro's prediction: 2-1 He never seems to back us to win a game
  22. When has he had stick from the fans??, even if he has had there's no excuse to kick balls into a stand where young kids sit..... is there. It just struck me as a bit out of character for him to do something like this where you could see absolutely no reason for it to happen and he looked really generally upset at something that's all, be interested to hear from anyone else who witnessed it
  23. Best chant of the day at Wenger by the Northam "Your just a French Jimmy Savile" quality!!!!
  24. In the warm up today Kelvin Davis booted 3 or more balls purposely into the family stand area in the Kingsland/Chapel Corner. After this had happened he looked really fed up and looked uninterested while the squad did shooting practice against him. Does anyone know why this is? as I couldn't really see any reason for him to do this as there were no people having a go at him or anything like that, and this is a bit out of character for Kelvin to say the least. Could it be because he has been told of Butlands imminent arrival and the fact he was dropped today signals the end of his time at Saints?
  25. Sooner Boruc leaves the better, i've watched him in numerous warm ups before matches and he hardly inspires confidence, he looks uninterested and lethargic to say the least. FFS get Butland in for £6 Million in January bet Brum would do a deal now that is if those Scousers haven't bagged him already
