The reasons they need to call to beg fans to attend are 1. Its on TV (so a free stream is obtainable) 2. The Ticket prices for Cat A games are a joke and out of reach of average fans. 3. The game is an early KO for the corporate machine that is Sky/BT Sport and the fans who have to travel are not even thought about 4. Its against one of the top 6, so probabilty states it's not winnable game as we will be playing against 14 men not 11 (see dippers game for example) 5. We have an awful defence who concede goals for fun 6. The ground will be full of Manc's in the home end with the consent of the club causing trouble with the home fans (see dippers game for example) If they call you any one of the above can be used to justify your non attendance

Sam had some bad things to deal with while at Saints but glad he's finally got a move where he can prove himself week in week out and get himself back on track, he's still a young lad at 23 and just needs games in a competive league level to get going, who knows we may see him in the Premier league soon if he does well, you never know, All the very best Sam

Good call on Bowen from Hull ,he would be a great addition too got 22 goals (same a Adams) and was Hulls top scorer in the Championship last season, he's young only 22 (this fits Ralph's brief) and would be a cheaper bet than buying abroad which is always a lottery (as we have discovered), we just gotta get rid of Chaz, Gallagher and Carrillo or maybe even Long first, but more than happy Che Adams is more or less a done deal, just hope we have some good Defensive targets in mind too

Truely awful team selection and overall performance today, Ralph should have realised by now the fringe players he has given chances to are by no means good enought to play not just for Southampton but in the Premier League, I just hope he doesn't do this again against Hudderfield at Home in our last game, as alot of goodwill he has built up with the fans this season could be somewhat tarnished we could of moved up a few places in the league, just glad we managed to get those points in the bag to stay up last week but alot was due to Brighton and Cardiff not getting the results when it counted.
