All we need now is for the official announcement Claude got the boot and its happy days again

Same old selling club mentality just like the previous 2 seasons, I mean Liverpool AGAIN.......we may as well all get a season ticket for Liverpool at this rate as most of their team consists of the best ex Saints players, Clyne, Lallana, Mane, Lovren and NOW VVD...........bet we get screwed on the fee too just like with Mane. Glad I didn't re-new mine at St Marys.........were really lucky this season to avoid being sucked into a relegation battle, next season i fear we will come unstuck especially with Puel at the helm, thanks Les Reed & Ralph Kruger, thanks alot for a really quiet summer.....last one out turn off the lights

Just heard Fat Sam wants out of Palace.....could he be coming our way???
-
Did he best with the hand he was dealt, given a full season with a board who back's him then you can judge.......my feeling is that he could do better than Puel with the resources on offer here
-
The reason's Silva did not keep Hull up are well documented, lack of board support when the club are up for sale for transfer funds when they only had a bare bones squad after selling key players such as Snodgrass to raise transfer funds to try and survive left him scrambling to attract any players to try and keep them up he did the best he could given the circumstances getting in Grosicki,Markovic and Niasse which turned things around and it looked as though he had got them out of it, but also dealt a bad hand with injuries to key players such as long term Meyler and Mason and for the last few games the influential player Markovic who had a key role in their resurgence out of the relegation places. Given our squad and transfer budget available i'm quite confident given his enthusiasm and track record in Portugal with Sporting Lisbon and in Greece with Olympiacos this Vs Puel's negative brand of football I know which I'd take

Bournemouth's income is in fact much lower than ours or West Broms, they have done wonders to be on level terms with us in league positon and it kinda shows what a proper manager can achieve with a willing bunch of honest hard working players who want to play you
-
I'd sell Gabbi, Austin and Long and get in Defoe,King and Niasse (if Hull go down, which seems likely and Marco is appointed manager here) Most here will be suprised at selling at the suggestion to sell Gabbi but I think he was a flash in the pan in his 1st few games for us has done nothing since and he kinda looks out of sorts and fustrated as games go on. Defoe and Josh King are proven goal scorers in this league and Niasse has shown good pace and strength and in recent games for Hull, and can cause defences alot of problems

After the club contacted me by email, text and letter in seeming desperation to get me to renew my season ticket after careful thought after assessing how we have done this season I've decided I'm not renewing for next season and I'm taking a season hiatus After watch Saints play for 11 seasons with my son this must rank as one of the worst for our style of play and with the general drabness and mood surrounding the club. I just can't sit through another Puel inspired season with his lame interviews/post match excuses, tactics, as well as selling our best players and watching the same dull brand football being played. the only way the club is going to see sense and do something about it is to vote with your feet and not buy season tickets. Instead got a season ticket (cheaper i might add also) watching Bournemouth as they seem show more determination and desire and have pulled off some fantastic results this season, they have an exciting manager who actually inspires players to play and gets the best out, I also think they will finish above Saints this season and next with the our current inept regime in place and that says alot on the budget Bournemouth are working with. When the club see sense and Puel, Black and Co go i'll be back hopefully we won't get relegated next season Good luck for next to all those who have renewed and are about to its gonna be a tough season for 2017-18

Better he leaves before the hypodermic syringes come out me thinks
-
Without Virgil we are mediocre at best at the back
-
Wouldn't be surprised to see him quit or be sacked if we lose ground in the league in the run in, personally I don't rate his tactics, or the way he comes across in his interview's hardly inspiring stuff to the fans...... wonder how he motivates players to perform?? and just how much influence Eric Black has in team selection tactics etc. One thing that really irritates me during listening to his interviews (when they haven't sent me to sleep) are the constant nasally discharges he does as though he has trouble breathing, its really annoying, has anyone else noticed that??? its in every interview he does....... Regards the season ticket renewal dilemma i am deciding at the end of the season, although after Saturday's disappointing performance i'm sure the style of football played under Puel throughout the majority of this season would try the patience of most Saints. In the past you could see the manager (Poch and Koeman) having a plan to improve us thus I fear this season we seem to be heading the opposite way and unfortunately I can't see him turning it around, if he does stay, this summer will be a massive transfer window for us as surely the annual player exodus will happen and getting in the right replacements will be a challenge im not sure Puel/Les can get right this time.

WTF is Boufal doing?? playing rubbish and getting himself booked in an U23 game, not the way to get yourself into the starting line up Caceres however looks a useful player looks composed and can pass out from the back well -

from the BBC's weekends football predictions Martin Kemp's prediction: This is a United win all day - they are getting stronger and stronger. 2-0 Lawro also has us down for a 2-0 loss too Lets hope our lads can make these 2 eat humble pie!! COYS!!!
-
See Jose is getting his excuses and mind games ready if they lose to us next week "Southampton is sleeping, is eating and resting and working for the League Cup final and we have had to play three tough games. It is so much more difficult for us, but for good reasons." Just one more opportunity for Ibra, Mata and Pogba to get crocked against St Etienne away next week, however at 3-0 up I bet he rests them all

Seems the club hierarchy believed all the good press by blowing smoke up our arses for the last few seasons now it come back to bite us on them, we are sleep walking to relegation this season and we have planned poorly all season, Reed MUST shoulder the blame for surely? His decision making particularly in hiring a manager who play negative football and who seems totally uninspiring to the players , chops and changes the team selection from one week to the next. This would be unforgivable in itself but no to make matters even worse his inability to get in a CB to cover not only Fonte's departure but knowing that Virgil was going to be out injured for 3 months too and have our 3rd choice CB (at the start of the season) and an academy player who had yet to make his full debut in the Premier league as our 1st choice pairing for the rest of the season is also the final nail in our coffin this season, think we will get hammered in the Cup final tool playing them to compound a fully miserable season for us and who do we have to thank for this take a bow LES REED, think alot of fans out there are sick of this and will vote with there feet next season after so much promise the last 3-4 seasons has evaporated
-
I'd go for Harry Maguire of Hull City he's only 23 and has bags of potential, looking for a move too after turning down a new deal
-
Harry Maguire looks a good player, a possible replacement for Fonte or Virgil if he goes in the summer, we've been linked with him too https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/2700916/harry-maguire-reject-hull-southampton-everton/
-
Hull back in with a shout here lol
-
When he is sold..... which will be in the summer , why would he stay based on the current situation.... would you???
