Wishful thinking to hope that Jaidi is in charge for this one. If it still Hughes then the fans need to give him two barrels. Would be ironic if Puel puts the final nail in the coffin, he might go up in everyone's estimation here. I hope we win but I fear a win would justify the board giving him more time.

I genuinely would stop watching us and attending games if we hired Allardyce or Steve Bruce. We never will, but the fact that some of our so-called "fans" think either option is acceptable is beyond me. Monk would be a poor choice, Moyes would be OK because he didn't do that badly at West Ham but it wouldn't solve anything in the long run. The likeliest option is a foreign manager, one we've never heard of.

We sacked Pellegrino on a Monday night, so we should wait until then. Trouble is, do the club want a "caretaker" for the next couple of matches (Man Utd and Spurs) or get someone in place immediately. We'll probably lose anyway so I'd rather we took a chance and just gave them to Jaidi.
