  1. A bit early, we've still got the Brighton game
  2. Top of the league
  3. Everton probably once Silva gets sacked
  4. 4-2 now The world's greatest come back is on
  5. Best thing for us to do is to copy the 16-17 tactics against them. Four games played, W2 D2 L0 F2 A0, and two of those games were with Stephens in defence!
  6. Our only hope next weekend is that Klopp decides to rotate his team, given their tricky fixture list. Let's hope PSG give them the run around
  7. Liverpool had to pay what was generally regarded as a inflated transfer fee
  8. Stags
  9. West Ham should sign Lallana, he'd fit right in
  10. They'll have to pay compensation but that'll be it I reckon.
  11. The issue isn't the wind, it's the fact that it's going to arrive on the coast and barely move, so it's just going to dump a load of rain
  12. Don't bother playing Long, he'll be much more effective on the counter away at Liverpool
  13. We should all dress up as Frenchmen, in honour of their stadium being named after the current president.
  14. For some reason it's the main article on the BBC Sport website. The BBC, and in particular the sport department, love to do this, create their own news and sensationalise what is in effect a complete non-story.
  15. Let them form their own super league, the sooner the better.
  16. Anthony Taylor is the referee
  17. Who should play - Gabbiadini Who will play - Austin
  18. Poor result though really, but sounds like they got out of jail. Lucky for them, all of the other teams below them drew too. I still think teams like Barnsley and Sunderland will be able to sustain their good form over a longer period, but they should finish in the play-offs. Peterborough away next week, top of the league and seemingly unstoppable, that'll be their first real test of how good they really are.
  19. I'd be disappointed if we didn't win
  20. Against a team who haven't won all season... Lol
  21. The only other solution is to move our game to the midweek afterwards. Yes it'll clash with the Champions League but I think UEFA allow certain exceptional circumstances.
  22. They still haven't confirmed the date for this one. The problem is that Liverpool are also playing at home. Both Chelsea and Everton play on Sunday, so they can't play on the Tuesday, and the police for obvious reasons don't want Everton and Liverpool playing at home on the same evening. So something has to give. https://www.football.london/chelsea-fc/fixtures-results/chelsea-liverpool-carabao-cup-confirmed-15119341 This article mentions the Thursday as a possible date for one of the fixtures, but all of the four teams are scheduled to play on the following Saturday two days later (including Chelsea v Liverpool, scheduled for live TV) so that doesn't seem possible either, unless they move our away game at Wolves to the Sunday, but the backlash against the short notice wouldn't be pretty. Bit of a headache for the authorities to sort out.
  23. Looking forward to it, at least it's a proper competition instead of a pointless friendly, England v Spain should be a good test for us.
  24. No Lovren, no Lallana, just leaves VVD for an annual Anfield booing in a couple of weeks.
  25. 1-0 to Saints
