  1. Tbh the Man Utd game comes at a decent time for us. We'll assume Man Utd will have more possession so RM will have no choice but to come up with a change of tactics. If we get a result, maybe accidentally he'll have come up with a tactical template for future games.
  2. One thing that was really noticeable was how slow we pass the ball. So pedestrian.
  3. It'll be less than that as a certain amount is reserved for players' family/friends.
  4. Not literally, just in a footballing sense. I wouldn't drop him at the moment personally.
  5. Why all the hate for Stephens? THB was atrocious on Saturday, if we do drop one of the centre backs he'd be on the bench for me.
  6. Interesting game, good to get the win. Some of the attacking play was sublime, yes Cardiff were shit but even so, it does look promising in that area. Now on to the areas for concern: Lumley - he showed why Martin was 100% correct to recall McCarthy when Bazunu got injured. Wood and Edwards were poor but not too concerned, it's very unlikely they'd both play together in the league. If they were playing alongside Bednarek/Stephens/THB they'd be fine, and we looked more composed when ABK came on so think they just need someone more experienced with them.
  7. Well done to those going. Train tickets from London would've cost £80 return not to mention hotel so I've skipped this one. I imagine we'll rotate heavily.
  8. That was shit, didn't test their goalkeeper once. Simply not good enough, from the players or from the manager. The one positive is I don't think we're a million miles off, both games have been narrow defeats. Think we need to be more effective on the counter attack, we can't just rely on passing it through teams.
  9. It will all depend on if we win or not. If we get an early goal I suspect the atmopshere will be pretty decent.
  10. Hopefully we can get that first win of the season under the belt and focus on re-establishing ourselves at this level. Forest you'd expect to be in the mix down the bottom so would be a big win. Apparently they played pretty well against Bournemouth but tailed off at the end, so I fancy us to resume our old habit of getting a late winner. 2-1.
  11. I think it's a good signing, still only 22 so plenty of time for him to improve, and if he gets even 10-15 goals he goes from £15million to £30million plus very quickly in value.
  12. Respectfully disagree. I'd actually quite like them in the Prem (along with us), I think having a local rival (and a proper one, not Bournemouth) would spur us on to do better.
  13. For me, Wimbledon or Leyton Orient away

  15. EFL Cup starts today, the draw for the next round is tomorrow, so any of the winners from the Southern section could be our opponents. The skates have Millwall at home so possible that they make it through.
  16. Under Koeman we did very well out of cast-offs from the big teams. Think Bertrand and Romeu from Chelsea.
  17. On FM I signed Archer in our first season back in the front and he got about 15 goals for us
  18. Craig Pawson is the referee. Chris Kavanagh is the VAR
  19. Only when Blackmore stops talking
  20. Oh ffs, a question about not being able to vote for the player of the season on the app
  21. First stupid question about 10 men.
  22. Martin brought up Blackmore's comment that he looked tired at the end of the season, seemed a bit peeved off
  23. A little bit of friction between Martin and Blackmore already
  24. Yeah, the other day tried to watch a video and it just kept on loading without playing. Realised after a bit of trial of error that I needed to be signed in for it to play, but no message came up. It's just pointless, the website is fine.
  25. On the app live, which is a bit annoying, don't like watching long videos on my phone, it's too small
