  1. Yup, I agree with this. Everyone else would be a let down. There's no way we'll go for Pellegrini, he does not fit us at all. And he'd be an underwhelming appointment.
  2. I think in time Puel will go on to prove himself. He'll go back to France probably, regain his reputation. Perhaps he'll then end up at a Champions League team, someone like Anderlecht or Basel perhaps. I will wish him well in his future endeavours. Eric Black can go though.
  3. As many of who are aware, I still would have preferred to keep Puel. However, if the club have someone else better lined up, then it's a decision I will support. I think there's only one person who would fit that criteria, and that's Thomas Tuchel. Pellegrini, Sherwood, whoever else available would be a backwards step.
  4. Last year, it was early July. http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11661/10466577/premier-league-fixtures-live-on-sky-sports-first-set-of-201617-games-announced
  5. Our worst case scenario is 8th. Not too bad.
  6. The home games against Everton and Arsenal will be moved to the Sunday or Monday, as they have Europa League on the Thursday before that (Arsenal definitely, Everton if they make it to the group stage) The away games also clash with Europa League knockout games, so they might also be moved to the Sunday if either of those teams make it far enough.
  7. After their recent performances at Wembley, I am all for Spurs playing there. It's a neutral venue - Spurs have no home games this season, and every team will go there and raise their game. They'll suffer this season IMO. (when I mean suffer, I mean they'll finish no higher than 4th).
  8. I don't think the Second Round has ever been regionalised
  9. November and December
  10. The standard 10% I imagine.
  11. Caption competition anyone?
  12. I think I read somewhere that if the same people who voted last week were to vote in an EU referendum, remain would win by over 3 million votes.
  13. There's a guy on youtube who has posted a whole load of Saints matches from the past. I think he may be (or was) a poster on here https://www.youtube.com/user/LatviasMichaelOwen/videos
  14. Les Reed has often spoken about making the next step to the Champions League. If we are remotely serious about that ambition, then we will go for Tuchel, and Tuchel will happily agree to join us.
  15. *MLG Pedant Alert* The League Cup 2nd Round is seeded, so we won't draw any Premier League teams, and Man Utd will enter in the 3rd round
  16. STOP REPLYING TO HIM Please
  17. 55th most valuable player in the world, worth €60.2M apparently, or £53.3M to the rest of us. http://www.football-observatory.com/IMG/sites/b5wp/2016/192/en/
  18. Tuchel and the new kit to be revealed at the same time. Photoshopped in though, cos we know VVD has already modelled it.
  19. First game of the season: Huddersfield away. Boxing day: Chelsea away. 28th December: Watford at home. Easter Weekend: Brighton away. Last game: Everton home. FA Cup third round: Man City at home. League Cup second round: Skates at home.
  20. Why did Bianca write that facebook review then?
  21. Looks like I was wrong then. What an utter idiot. And what is worse is that this Rissy is definitely a downgrade on Bianca.
  22. All Labour have to do is hold their vote. Normally, getting 40% of the vote = a landslide. The longer the Conservatives remain in power, the more unpopular they will get. Especially if they associate themselves with the DUP, which will turn off moderate voters in their droves. They only need to go down in the next vote to the high/mid 30s and they're toast.
  23. I don't want to do an 'MLG' on you, but is it not to gauge interest?
  24. Their MP backed Brexit, it's a Remain voting area. Extraordinary result though. It's the country's wealthiest seat.
  25. Porky Penny got re-elected
