6/10, clear potential for all to see, just seems to be made of glass a bit/isn't really ready for 90 mins in the English leagues (much like Morg was along with a host of other players who have made this sort of Europe to England transition). You can see when he's on it and everyone is paying attention/knows whats coming he'll be an essential part of the team (I keep thinking of that goal he should have scored form Lambert's amazing through ball away at Norwich as just one example of the sort of thing that will start to happen more). Give him a good summer with everyone else and it'll come good.

His potential is clear to see for everyone, so much work rate, good range of passing, good turn of pace and can have a world class first touch. He just needs more time to get comfortable/confident at the roles we need him to play and the standard of the league. I feel he's £7m well spent but he has been playing with the weight of that price tag on him a bit too much and over the next 18 months he will really grow into a better player.

I feel he's trying to contain the expectations of fans and make sure he's in the shop window for the Arsenal job next season. £200m is a bit steep to basically say to compete against the big teams you need big players, which isn't a cast iron fact. On the other hand he is right that constant investment is needed to try and keep afloat in the premier league and it will be difficult for Swansea to maintain their position without everyone around them spending past them. So yeah breaking the top 6 needs money, a bit of luck and a lot of planning (same with not ruining the league season with the Europa League). Swansea will need to buy 4-5 players really to "bulk out" the squad for Europe if they want a good push at it (which is what Laudrup wants) but it's not a £200m investment unless you want players that'll come with the reputation already.

I thought it was clear that was an anti-Wales agenda in the Mail seeing as it's not a real country and all the welsh teams should be playing in their own league, ruining the English national team it is, coming over here, stealing our jobs, competing for places that our rightfully 'Arrys and all...
