  1. No chance this time. I don't see any logical reason for getting rid of Adkins and replacing him with the Spanish Steve Kean.
  2. Oh great.
  3. He can fûck right off from the club right now and save us all the embarrassment of almost being safe at christmas to being relegated, badly. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/blog/2013/jan/18/southampton-mauricio-pochettino Guardian's profile. Key quotes: "It all fell apart when his friends (as an ex-player) left the club" (at Espanyol on what why it fell apart for him) and "doesn't know any English" Going to be quite the culture shock for the cünt trying to explain what he wants Lambert to do with a thick scouse accent back at him...
  4. Nothing will ever top Harry Redknapp managing this club...
  5. Pards deserved it, Adkins didn't.
  6. It'll be 8-0 Everton now.
  7. Other than singing Adkins name all game nothing is going to help (other than just not going). Lads wip about to buy the club.
  8. **** right off back to his nothing league with now zero achievements. Lads lets buy the club and bring back Adkins.
  9. Cortase out and that's us relegated. I want to cry.
  10. That's a little bit funny if it wasn't a depressing attempt to wind up "rivals". Sort of like being a 20 year old brother to a 5 year old and holding his toy above his head to he can't reach it to wind him up...
  11. It'll be fine, they have covers over the pitch today and by monday it is supposed to be warmer and raining in Southampton. Snow and ice is only supposed to remain further north so driving down for me will be a pain.
  12. There's only one L. And he's put some decent corners in when he's been on duty so far this season, pretty sure you've been watching a different set of games. De Ridder has had a few appearances over christmas (as you probably don't know) so I am a bit confused to why you are just ranting about Guly and how someone like Kalou is a better option when Kalou one of those lazy know it all players that doesn't play for a team or listen to what his manager wants, hardly worth showing interest to when he will go to Qtar and we can keep our decent hard working players.
  13. So basically if we had lost away at Villa and been raped by Chelsea setting a new premier league record in goals conceded in a match maybe he would have been 5th choice behind pep...
  14. Does the Daily Mirror really just not like Adkins and his fun little dance with the media?? They don't do this nonsense to Holloway every week (or even when he was in the prem) and he's just as annoying with the media, same with Mick really. No idea who's arse they are plucking this story from now.
  15. He's a really good player though missed most of the summer with a double hernia and has been working hard to come back from it (was out before Rangers imploded for a scale of the injury). It'll take time for him to come good and he has put in some good shifts but he really is more like Morgan than Cork which is what I think has held back some of his performances (having to do a role he's not quite as good at). Can't forget he scored away at city too! Really glad to have him about either way, our midfield four of Cork, Morgan, Davis and JWP is a very strong set of players to pick from for the middle of the park, not many prem teams have 4 players for two spots that are all so good.
  16. They didn't say but the general implication from Wigan is "HERE'S ALL OF THEM COME TO WIGAN PLEASE! we need money" Pretty reasonable as its only 20 a pop
  17. Charlton supporting mate said it was horrible, played at LB for about 5 games and 2 at cb. Was worse than the guy he was cover for. I really didn't think much of him at L1, no awareness at the best of times and couldn't stand watching him hopelessly trying to track a ball in the air and run at the same time (akin to watching a dog chase a frisbee before it runs into a tree).
  18. Did you just mix Guly with De Ridder?!? Guly can at least participate in a game of football and provide some key passes, assists and put in a good corner, all this season. De Ridders contribution has been, run with the ball, fall over, fail to put on a corner, get someone else to do it. If someone needs ridiculing it has to be De Ridder who should have the lowest pass completion rate in the league (or at least at saints) Anyway international experience doesn't = good, just they have a good agent/reputation. Neither would do much or improve the team we have (or justify 65k a week).
  19. Only doing them a favour if we are paying the wages and they are light on players... Otherwise they are lumped with someone on a big wage who will struggle in L1.
  20. A dead cat could do a better job than either of them or both of them.
  21. I assume Punch is stalling of the contract negotiation over a clause to get rid of that silver tooth! Makes him look like a right tit... Agreed!
  22. Booing Guly, one of the most unbelievably terrible things I have ever witnessed. Ex-portsmouth players have been treated better than him by us Positive one, being significantly better than Arsenal over the 90 mins at home, really didn't think that was on the cards.
  23. They are too good for him. Once his contract is up he'll be back at Exeter, such an odd buy as he has never been good enough for us. But on a positive note good luck to him, never like seeing someone loose out to an injury like that and hopefully he'll get his career back on track.
  24. He mucked up a brilliant chance to make it 2-0 to Wednesday last Saturday, alone in the box, keeper nowhere and managed to get it stuck under his feet. Touch of a rapist there...
