Excuse my ignorance but why were Jamie & Neil Acort & Luke Knight not put on trial this time. Evidence says that there were 5 men present when Stephen Lawrence was attacked so why have only two men stood trial?

After my thread about facing facts (which has been removed due to the idiotic behaviour of some forum members) I wondered if anybody has actually grasped what I was trying to say following todays result? This is exactly what we can expect when we go to places like Blackpool, WHU, Brum & Boro. Our away form is simply not good enough to get us out of this league. I've been saying this since October and had nothing but grief for it. We'll get 78pts max this season. Play offs is our best shot. Face facts!

I opened this thread by saying that most people on this forum live in la la land. Judging by some of the childish tittle tattle I've been reading I was completely right. I read the forums of loads of clubs and I can honestly say that this forum is the worst I've come accross for fans squabbling like school children. This playground banter makes me ashamed to be a Saints fan. I can only assume that the people behind it are the same fans who turned on me when I was at Anfield back in the 90's when I mentioned that I lived in the North West. You've never seen a group of people turn so quickly. It was disgraceful behaviour and left me asking myself if I really wanted to follow a club whose supporters bullied fellow fans because of where they live.

If we'd had to go to Birmingham, Leeds, WHU, Boro & Blackpool in the first half of the season do people really think we'd be top??? Really? Based on our away form? C'mon people. Wake up! The vast majority of people on this forum live in la la land. Why can people not be realistic and look at the facts? Yes we're in a far better position than we all expected to be at this time but look at the bigger picture. Our away form is poor. Defeats at Bristol City, Doncaster, Leicester and Cardiff. Draws at Derby, Barnsley, Reading & P*mpey. Based on this form and looking at the remaining away fixtures do people really think we'll be in the top 2 at the end of the season? We've got to go to Leeds, Boro, WHU, Blackpool, Brighton & Birmingham. From those 6 fixtures we'll be lucky to get 6 points. Then there's away games at the likes of Hull, Forest, Palace and Watford. Given they we've been unable to beat teams in the bottom 3 I really don't see us getting more than 10 points from all of our remaining away fixtures in 2012.

Will people now accept that we won't go up?

When we don't go up at the end of the season people will look back & say, 'If only we'd not lost those 2 games to Bristol City'.

We won't finish in the top 2 so it looks like the play offs is the best we can hope for. Sadly we'll never win in the play offs so I'm looking forward to seeing if we can mount a challenge next season.
