Funny. Towards the end of last season I heard that we'd enquired about a CB from Swansea but the name mentioned was Ashley Williams. Any move depended on whether they were promoted so when they went up I forgot about it.

I think he's exactly what we need. The missing link in the midfield. Just need a proven goalscorer at this level - Someone like Harewood, and another CB and I think we'll be sorted.

His ****ty attitude sums up everything that's wrong with the game. Players earning too much money and thinking that they're bigger than the club. Do us all a favour and **** off!

I see Brighton have opted for Green on their away shirt. They're obviously hoping to follow in the footsteps of Norwich & QPR who were both promoted wearing green in their away shirts last season. lol

That isn't exactly an ambitious move. More like a sideways step. A bit like David Norris going to P*mpey. That said, Norris used to be my neighbour when I lived in Bolton. He was an absolute cock!

The lack of news has nothing to do with things getting worse. It's the behaviour of certain forum members who think, and act like they run the place. You either agree with them or be ridiculed. These people don't possess the interlect to enter a sensible discussion, listen to others views and hold sensible conversations. They're only interested in bullying people who don't share their views. The whole point of a forum is to share views and opinions, not suffer abuse from idiots who think they know best. I wonder who will be the first person to quote this post and add a load of abuse, thus proving my point.

Well said. The lack of sense of humour on this forum is shocking! It seems to me that there's a real clique on here. If you're not part of it then you get slated for everything that you post. I despise the way certain members think they know more than you and suggest that you're always wrong or simply an idiot if you post something that they disagree with. I could list several examples of things that I've posted on this forum but I simply can't be bothered as it'll only open up a can of worms and lead to more abuse from certain members. They're probably already busy writing their response to this very post.

Just read the piece on the OS again, The design of the new strip is a much considered decision which incorporates a number of factors and influences such as, tradition, heritage and supporter feedback, whilst also looking to provide innovative design elements as part of the "Tailored by Umbro" range. Am I still the only one who thinks that the 'stars in stripes' is a reference to ex-players (stars) names being woven into the material? :-)

At what point did I say that the kit was real? It's you that has a disturbed reality as you seem to have an amazing ability to draw conclusions from things that aren't there. It's obvious that the kit is fake. I simply said that the red used on the old Patrick shirt was more Orange than the Red on the more recent shirts. He's probably made the fake mock-up use a lighter shade of Red as he's trying to make it look like the original shirt. Get your facts straight before you start having a pop at people! And for the record. I have Glaucoma so yes, I am visually impared.

Said this before and I'll say it again. Look at an original Air Florida shirt. Compare it to any shirt since then and you'll see just how orange the shade of red was compared to the red in more recent shirts. I'm not saying it was orange, just that it was a more orangy shade of red back then.

Nice shirt. I see Forest have adopted Green on their away shirt. We should do the same. QPR & Norwich both had green on their away shirt and got promoted last season. There's something lucky about green. ;-) lol
