No. I watched Cardiff V QPR recently. Whilst there were some wonder goals in that game I have to say that the standard of football was far worse than the Prem. That's why the promoted teams struggle in the Prem year after year.

Bournemouth. Just be nice to see a trio of South Coast clubs promoted. However, Huddersfield totally deserve to be promoted. The play offs really are ****! If there has to b a play off system I'd much rather it was done in the way that it was when they began. 2 up and 2 down with 3rd & 4th playing 3rd & 4th from bottom in the league above. Much more exciting. A fight for survivial against a fight for promotion. For example, as things stand this year would see Huddersfield play Doncaster and Peterborough play Sheff Utd. The winners then meet to decide who has a place in the Championship.

It already looks like hes dropping down to the Championship with WHU.

Oh how I wish Connelly's shot had gone in. He's watched from the bench all season and has done a fantastic job when he was needed. Many players who'd been left out for so long wouldn't have been able to make an immediate impact in the way he has.

My sentiments exactly!!! I'm the eternal pessimist but this lot have made me very very happy!

I'd rather consolidate and build on what we have. No point in rushing to get back into the Prem and then struggle to stay there, which is what happens to most sides who go up. Build a squad that can get automatic promotion and then stay in the Premier league. If I'm completely honest I think the Championship is a pretty exciting place to be. There's some big sides in there, many of whom have played top flight football. The Premier league is a joke. Full of overpaid and underperforming players. It's all about the the so called big four. The chances of a team breaking into that are pretty remote unless they get the kind of backing seen at Man City.

Really got to feel for them. The Play-offs should be scrapped. As I've said before, the league doesn't lie and this year is a perfect example of that. They're clearly miles better than the teams in 4th, 5th and 6th. I really hope they make it via the play-offs! I'd hate to be in their position right now.

No. Brentford was one game I expected us to win and a gut feeling said 3-0, so I was spot on with that one. However, I genuinely think we'll f*ck this up with 1 draw and one defeat in our last 2 games. I hope I'm wrong but years of following Saints has made me a real pessemist. How many times do we have to suffer last day cliffhangers? lol

Fonte. Although credit has to go to Chaplow. The difference he's made to the midfield since his arrival cannot go unnoticed!

The Playoffs are a farce. Always have been! It's all about money. The purpose of a league is to test teams over a period of time. So why have a league if the team that finish 6th can be promoted over the team that finish 3rd? Over the course of a season the team in 3rd have proved that they're worthy of promotion. End of story! I'm the world's biggest pessemist. I still think we'll end up finishing 3rd. When have Saints ever made things easy for themselves? I can see us losing or drawing on Monday and it'll all go down to the final day when we'll only manage a draw. I hope I'm wrong. Over the years I've seen plenty of final day drama's and to be honest I've had enough of it. I just want promotion on Monday so that the pressure is off for the final day and we can all enjoy it. But my gut feeling is that it's going to the wire. :-(

I think Huddersfield will pick up all 6 pts in their last 2. Sadly I think we'll only get 4 pts from the last 3 games. As I've feared all season, if we don't go up automatically we won't go up at all. I still think we'll f*ck this up and end up losing the play off final. :-(

We'll lose today. Sadly I don't see us getting automatic promotion and I think we could well miss out in the play offs. I'll be over the moon to see us go up but I do feel this season has been a bit disappointing. I thought we'd run away with the league - Promoted as champions by Easter. I certainly didn't expect to see us battling with the likes of Huddersfield for an automatic promtion place. Gus Poyet is spot on. We may have some great players but there are other clubs with far better team spirit than Saints.

I've heard a rumour that one of the templates provided by Umbro is a return to stripes but the stripes are broken by a red sash across the front. Personally I think this would look a right dogs dinner. Perhaps someone can produce an image of how this may look?

Plain sleeves are a bad idea. Just look at the number of clubs who've been relegated when they've had a kit with plain sleeves. It happened to us the last time we did it so we shouldn't go there again!

Swap the Green for Black and that would be a great away shirt!
