The thing that makes me laugh is that the technology has just reached the point where you can start to stream and watch tv on your phone, and they cap the data allowance. Pathetic!

The Seat Ibiza is the same car as the forthcoming Audi A1 at a fraction of the price of an A1. Same chassis, engines etc. So why pay all the extra money for an Audi? Badge Snobbery?

Would you play Robert Green in the next game

They should have just picked Hart at the start of the tournament. It's obvious that he's the future England keeper, so why not put him in now? That way he can make the place his own for the next 10-15 years. All this swapping keepers every game is no good for anybody. -
Top 5. No doubt about number 1 The rest are in no particular order. Melissa Theuriau Katie Derham Susanna Reid Fiona Bruce Penny Smith GMTV getting rid of Penny Smith was a big mistake. It wasn't just the fact that she looked great for her age, it was also her sarcastic sense of humour that made her so appealing.

I'm still struggling to work out why Joe Cole wasn't brought on to replace Milner. We look like a different team when Cole plays. I didn't think Heskey was anything special. He did his usual thing of failing to take his chance and seemed to spend a lot of time on his arse, taking forever to get back up. Most players are striaght back on their feet. Not Heskey, he lies down, looks around and then does his best impression of a pensioner trying to get out of bed. There's no urgency about the bloke at all.

Picture messaging (MMS) will also be chargeable at 20p per pic. These used to use the equivalent of 4 text messages every time you sent a picture. So now you pay about £40 per month + 20p for every picture you send via MMS and you are limited to 500mb for internet use. Robbing bastards!!!

What's all this nonsense about there not being an away shirt? Of course there'll be one. If nothing else, it's an opportunity for the club to make money.
-
It's not a new take at all. It looks like it was made in 1885. The fact that you've used the word 'retro' to describe it says it all. They should have done this shirt as a limited release. Maybe worn it for one game only and charged more for it. They could have made it really special by only releasing 125 of them. That would have made them very collectable. Other clubs have done this type of thing and it's proved to be very popular. As I said before, the designs that some of our own fans produced had far more thought put into them. Sid. I won't be looking like a jockey or a polo player as I won't be buying it.
-
I'm suprised at how popular it is. I think it's boring and that it looks like something that a jockey would wear. No thought has gone into it. It's a 125 year old design, so it's not as if the designers have had to do much work for their money. A new take on the original Saints shirt would have been far more exciting. Once again the forum users came up with better ideas than the designers at Umbro. We've ended up with an England shirt with a diagonal red stripe. Whooopee! Whatever next? An away shirt that's basically a Sweden kit with a Saints badge. I wouldn't put it past them.

Am I missing something, when was it confirmed that Dickson had signed??? I thought Harding looked good at RB last season. I also wondered if AP might use him there next season.
-
It was boring. I don't want to go into too much detail as I don't want to drop people in the ****. I had high expectations, probably because of all the hype surrounding the 125th anniversary. Sadly what I've seen failed to live up to my expectations. I'm ****ed off with the whole thing now. If what I saw is then new shirt then personally I'm disappointed. I think the badge is a pretty poor design that any school kid could have produced & i'm inclined to say that the shirt I saw was of a similar standard. This will be my last post on the subject as I'm sick of being pestered with private messages asking for more info, or calling me a lying bastard for refusing to share. I'm beginning to wish I'd never seen or mentioned the bloody thing!
-
I have seen the shirt that one of the other forum users has seen. However, from what he said on his earlier post I'm not convinced that it's the finished article... Although he swears that it is. I'm as confused as everybody else. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.
-
The same thing crossed my mind. I'm beginning to think they may have had a couple of designs drawn up & have been monitoring these boards to see what kind of response a sash kit would get from the fans. They're not likely to go with a sash if everybody's against it. They'll want to generate as much business as possible, so will want the fans to love it. If they've got a stripes and a sash kit all ready to go then they can leave it until the 11th hour to make a decision. That may also explain the recent delay... Just a thought :s

Bong!...... Bong!.......
-
Yeah. I've just read that they've shelved plans for it as the Lib Dems are against it. Crazy that the party who came 3rd in the election seem to be dictating how so much is run these days.
-
Yeah. It would have been better if they'd said that the new kit would be revealed next week. The OS really is ****e!
-
They indicated that it would be one of the features of the emergency budget. So yes!
-
Has anybody else noticed that this idea seems to have vanished of the face of the earth since the Tories got in to power, yet it was one of the key features in their election campaign. Lying bastards!!!
-
I think more people will not like it but it'll sell because it's an anniversary shirt. The away kit will be more popular IMO.
-
A mate got a mock up from a mate at Umbro, but had to sign a disclaimer to say he wouldn't reveal the design. I've seen it. It's ok. Not what I was expecting. Can't say anything more than that really. It's a Marmite shirt, if you know what I mean

Just stuck the dodgy bastards name in to this site http://gangstaname.com/en/names/generate. His Gangsta name is 'Old Dirty Dung Beetle'. At first glance I thought it said Bung Beetle.

Thank god he's taking Joe Cole. We look like a different side when he plays. Bit disappointed that Theo isn't going. I'd rather he went than SWP. However, the biggest joke has to be Heskey. He doesn't play first team football for his club. I can't remember the last goal he scored yet he's in the World Cup squad. Words fail me. Poor old Darrent Bent must be wondering what he has to do. Maybe Heskey's got some photo's of Capello that he's threatened to sell to the press?

Salisbury City refused entry to BSP next season
Cestrian Saint replied to stevegrant's topic in General Sports
Chester City started life on -25pts in the Conference. Half way through the season they folded. The club has been resurrected by the fans and whilst they were never going to start life in the Conf north, they were hopeful of a new beginning a couple of leagues below that. Sadly they've been put in the North-West counties league, 5 levels below where they were. It's going to be a long and difficult journey for them to get back to where they were, but at least there's no money grabbing ******s running the club and the it's nice to see people who genuinely care about their team in control. -
I keep hearing rumours that FC isn't going to take Joe Cole. This would be a big mistake IMO. I'd also like to see Joe Hart starting. He's obviously going to be the future England keeper, so why not start playing him now? There's no reason why he can't make that position his for the next 10-15 years, so why pick a keeper that's at the end of his career over him?
