Famous Celebrity Fans... Who Are They Again!?!
Cestrian Saint replied to dannysfc's topic in The Saints
Craig David is not a Saints fan. I was sat next to him at a TV filming and Jamie Theakston asked him who he supported. Craig david replied, 'Chelsea!' Theakston said 'I thought you were a Saints fan?'. CD replied, 'I'm from Southampton but I support Chelsea'. He just dons a Saints shirt if there's publicity to be had. 2003 Cup final day is a prime example. Attention seeking tosser! -

Have to agree. I predict a gentle slide down the table over the next 6 weeks and a defeat at P*mpey in a couple of weeks. It's been nice but it was never going to last. Away form is simply not good enough. Too many defeats against crap teams and still got to go away to places like 'Boro, WHU, Blackpool & Leeds. -

What? You honestly expect us to win at P*mpey? No chance. -

Not ****ing good enough. Our away form is ****! -
That's me! But I'd prefer it if you called me a realistic old goat. I'm simply keeping my feet on the ground where as everybody else seems to have got a bit carried away and not looked at the bigger picture.

If we can't beat the bottom teams away from home then what hope do we have at the likes of WHU, Boro, Leeds & Brum? Then there's a very tricky away game at Nottarf Krap where I don't see us getting anything. We will not go up this season. FACT!
-
It's our away form that will cost us automatic promotion. I said this weeks ago and got slated for it. Perhaps people will start to believe me now?
-
I think we'll lose too.

Saints good run to come to an end today. Down to earth with an almighty bump. Saints 0 Brighton 3.

33! FFS. Sheringham played until he was 40 & Connolly is no spring chicken either.
-
Why field a weakened side when you're in the last 16 of a competition? Surley that's the time to step things up a gear and field your strongest team with a view to going as far as possible. I'd be really ****ed off if I'd paid to travel to Selhurst Park.

Sven and McLaren. What a pair of jokers. How did these two idiots ever manage the national team? Hopefully people will stop employing him now. He must have earned more than enough in pay-offs to never have to work again?

Got 2 for Friday and 4 for Sunday. First saw them in 1989 a day after my 17th birthday in a club in Chester. Didn't have a clue who they were at the time. Went to Blackpool in '89 and Manchester Apollo in '95. Can't wait!

Give them a break. They didn't make a penny back in the day. They've not got back together to just play the hits, they're writing new material. There's absolutely no reason why they can't be bigger and better than they were back then. The first album is rightfully one of the greatest albums of all time. The second album is also a masterpiece and hugely under rated. There's an awful lot of **** poor music around at the moment. The Stone Roses reunion has happened at exactly the right time. It's great to be really excited about a musical event like this. It's got people of all ages buzzing. I saw them around '89 - '90 and again in '95. I've never experienced feeling a part of something special like I did at those shows. They've got something very special and a lot of bands wouldn't be around today if it wasn't for them. It was nice of Liam and Noel to keep their seat warm whilst they were away.

Tim Burgess has posted this on Twitter. 'Big news tues. Nice when old friends who became foes become friends.'
-
Reni has issued this statement. "Not before 9T will I wear the hat 4 the Roses again". What does that mean? Is 9T referring to 9am, Tuesday? Spoke to a mate who works in the music industry in Manchester. He says something is definitely happening and he knows some stuff but won't share what he knows until the official announcement on Tuesday. Hmmmm, not sure what to make of that.

Squire was interviewed by Mark Radcliffe on 6 music recently. Before he agreed to the interview he said that he'd only go on the show on the understanding that Stone Roses were not discussed at all. He issued a statement that said it was history and no longer relevent and was all about a time and a place which has now passed and should remain in the past.

Totally pointless thread. Why come on here and say you know why he was sacked and then refuse to reveal the reason?
-
I think you'll find that it's f*cking craap³.
-
Mark Wright's broken leg when he was at Saints was pretty horrific. I think we were playing Liverpool in a semi final.
-
If he was available for anything less that £1.5m then fair enough. There's no way he's worth £3-£4m!
-
Well we shall see. We won't go up automatically and I'm doubtful we'll even make the play offs. You heard it here first!

Oh, and even P*mpey got a point against this ****! :-(
