So, the Liverpool game is looking increasingly like a busted flush. But I reckon we need to have a new CB in place this week for the slightest hope of being prepared/part-gelled for the easier games that follow it. We dont get a CB in this week, we are playing catch-up after 3 or 4 games, I reckon...

Lovren has scored against Dortmund.... Lambert is on the bench.

F**k me.. First time in years we are setting ourselves up with genuine depth in one position, and everyone starts sh*tting themselves. Why shouldnt Boruc stay ? -
Morgan's head gone- Update: It has been re-attached

And I said at the time it wasnt going to happen because Spurs offer was a joke. Poor Morgan. He's f**ked until someone matches our valuation.. -

In other words....he's gone on strike. Modern footballers are a bunch of selfish arrogant w*nkers. -

Rickie Lambert - Dream to Nightmare?
alpine_saint replied to georgeweahscousin's topic in The Saints
I am fairly confident it will turn out right for him and he will make a reasonable contribution to their season. His sheer force of will and personality will prevail. But if it doesnt, he only has himself to blame for acting like a goggle-eyed, star-struck, pre-pubescent teenage girl. -
Rickie Lambert - Dream to Nightmare?

On one level that seems amusing. However, its a real pity for us and the players themselves, because they still had futures here. They got distracted by money and star-struck... -
Rickie Lambert - Dream to Nightmare?

Always starts the season slow. Always silences the doubters. But if this is the case, its karma. I blame him for opening the floodgates with an act of selfishness. It is telling how Rodgers needs to go to the press every two days to convince the media and fans about his purchases from us. -
2 weeks to go, and at the moment we're playing Jos and Jose. My son could go through them, let alone Sturridge, Sterling and Lambert.
-
We are yet again facing a season start woefully equipped in the central defence positions. I'd like to know why this keeps happening, whoever the manager/chairman/owner is. Why did we let Lovren go before securing a replacement ? This has Fitz Hall written all over it..
-
This has got to be simply the most perfect-named thread ever started. Transfer rumours ONLY We are so being bullsh*tted by the board. 90m banked, f**k all being spent. 2 weeks to go...
-
This really was the signing called for to calm the nerves after the hell of the past week, wasnt it ? This ranks alongside giving Kanchelskis the #7 shirt.......
-
Guan was right then. Bullsh*t Ralphie strikes again. Loads of brave talk, f**k all substance. 90m in the bank and we take a load of crap on loan... More substance to indicate we can no longer attract players. Back to 2004/2005 all over again, with probably the same result.

Happy with this. No-one is going to part with money for Osvaldo until he redeems himself on the pitch, we get a new player effectively for nowt. Not sure if this spells the end for Corky, or if this means Morgan gets his way. -
Yes, pity we dont look like we have the substance and knowhow on the board to make something like this happen...
-
Aye. Reading the likes of SOGgy still defending himand hankering after him and the "good old times" he created is pathetic
-
The ONLY thing that may stop Morgan to Spurs happeneing is Levy's notorious stinginess.
-
Yes, and the result here will be the same as the previous two; the player gets his way to a backdrop pseduo-protestations from a board with dollar signs in their eyes. As has been said, if this approach can be taken with Morgan, why wasnt it taken with any of the others, espeically Lallana and Lovren ? Yesterdays utterances from Ralphie were BULLSH*T.
-
Our board have f**ked this up royally. If Liebherr hasnt orchestrated this for some ulterior motive, she needs to sack the lot.
-
This absolutely. The board have f**ked this up big time, and are continuing to f**k it up.
