  1. whatever, not going to let you spoil a very happy moment for me
  2. Sorry, you will just have to smack ALL the fat blokes in Saints shirts you dont recognise...
  3. Ive just seen the venue. NO WAY. NO F**KING WAY. I live in the outskirts of Villach !! My 3yr old goes to Kindergarten across the road !! See you all there !!
  4. Stansted - Klagenfurt with Ryanair is not too expesive. Prob facing a train journey at this end though.
  5. A certain saying involving the consumption of fermented vegetable drinks in the place of their production springs to mind... And I was criticised for comparing SFC to a crappy B&B..
  6. Aw, thats just b*ll*cks, Battleship Boy. How can you say this jizz-fest of a kit idea is boring or hideous ?
  7. The away kit, based on your description and itchen_dan's mock-up, sounds f**king awful too...
  8. I'm just hoping they've done something special with the away kit. At least we know it wont be white.. I bought the yellow for me and my sons when we had the herringbone stripes with the first aap3 kits.
  9. Considering all the great ideas us mere mortals have come up with on here, to be stuck with such a dull unimaginitive unrepresentative-of-Saints kit is really depressing, and hints that the management dont really give a f**k what we think. Best thing to do, perhaps only thing to do, is to boycott buying of the shirt this season, and send the club a message through the revenue figures. I wont be buying my 3 usual kids kits and possibly my adult shirt, if that kit is really confirmed.
  10. Garak and the actor Andrew Robinson are massively undervalued for their contribution to DS9.
  11. So, has it been recovered and used at away games ? Was it brought out for last summers tribute tournament ? Doesnt sound like it, tbh. Surely the club doesnt have a right to hold on to it ?
  12. The one where the Romulans get dragged into the Dominion War on the side of the Federation ? Oh, I agree. Top notch episode. Brooks wasnt hamming it for that one.
  13. Hmmm. I switched away from an ipod to a Sony Walkman for a while (before switching back to an iPhone) and I found the PC management software for the Walkman to be bloody awful. Even the new iTunes is better.
  14. Indeed, what a daft comment from Finland....
  15. Janeway always came across to me like a 50s school governess, especially the voice. Maybe there was something a bit kinky about her. Didnt like it when she switched the hair bun for a bob. When it comes to the acting stakes, the only captain worth his salt was Patrick Stewart, of course, but then he overdid it sometimes, considering the material, and came across as pompous.
  16. This. The latest version is f**king awful. Is it possible to do a roll-back ?
  17. What about the episode "Our Man Bashir" when he plays a James Bond-type character in Quarks holosuite and his assistant, all legs and boots, is called Mona Luvsitt
  18. I watched them make complete mugs out of England in Graz during Englands final warm-up game before SA 2010. Japan lost 2-1, but scored all 3 goals
  19. You should know by now that such comments on here are viewed as base treachery..
  20. Why ? Are you seriously suggesting the discussion about the kit appearance only started when the deal was finalised ?
  21. Ah. So you're into durty lezzas, then.... I agree about Chase Masterson. I love the episode when Gul Dukat is rounding up Rom and a few others during the temporary Dominion occupation of DS9, and he turns around with his face about a foot from her tits, looks into her face and says "they can come along too"
  22. Curious. A comment that manages to p*ss off a happy clapper and a "doom-monger" like me. I hate the cautious unambitious way in which footballers seem to start talking when they play for SFC. There is a middle ground between this and "We're off to the Champions League" comments from MP. Anyway, it is sheer insanity if Lallana is still captain next season.
  23. Much as I am full of admiration for the servicemen attitude of "taking the Queens Shilling, knowing the risk" as exemplified by VW above, for me there is the duty of care/covenant principle to be upheld. If we are going to send our young men and women into sh*tty places to fight other peoples wars, they should be equipped with the best equipment available. This has not been the case in years, if not, never. I despise the pen-pushers in the MoD that are making such decisions. There are other examples, not just the Snatch Land Rovers. What about the 6 Red Caps who were murdered having less than a third of the minimum ammo load-out ? Stories of certain soldiers having to give up body armour to other formations only to get shot dead in a way that armour would have protected them ? Crap radios ? Boots falling apart ? Relying on the Yanks to provide air cover as our Harriers rot at Davis-Monthan and our carriers are cut up in Turkey ? Shutting military hospitals and putting servicemen on wards in normal hospitals where any old bigot or fanatic can abuse them ? Using technicalities to diddle servicemen and women out of invalidity settlements ? This country has a choice to make. If we are a world player, we have to take the role and its responsibilities seriously. That includes to our servicemen and women. Help For Heroes shouldnt need to exist; the country has an obligation to fulfill. IMO, of course.
