  1. Wow.Just.....wow. We p*ssed in their pool big time. F*ck the guard of honour, we showed them who is still the best team on the South Coast. So, so glad that Connolly is stepping up to the plate to replace Barnard.
  2. Superb piece. Gives Brighton the pre-requesite backhanded slap for their acheivement, but calls them a bunch of dirty cheating c**ts at the same time. Love it. Reckon this pieces indicates he should have the lads fired up too.
  3. There are so many. I like the ones about nobbling Lowes taxi motorbike, Killers warm-up and nobbling Pinnacle. All very momentous occasions. I would also like to add something here about forcing Burley to sub Leon Best for Rasiak in the second leg at Derby at an earlier stage, or taking David Prutton or Danny Higginbotham on a trip slightly further back in time to see the consequences of their f**k ups against WBA and Middlesbrough respectively.
  4. That's OK, I was expecting much worse, like someone shooting my mother before conception.
  5. Oh no we didnt. Some of us reminded the rest of you that this is Southampton Football Club, and that we never do things the easy conventional way.
  6. So, looks like its all down to Connolly staying fit. Congratulations Huddersfield
  7. I reckon Barnard might make it back for Walsall and Plymouth. just a gut feeling. I also reckon from the comments that Lallana wont be risked at Brighton if it can be avoided (Huddersfield fail to win at MKD)
  8. Middle one is too Arsenal.
  9. Yes ! Very good point.
  10. In a littany of Lowe f**k-ups, this was for me the worst and was one of the main factors in our relegation, along with leaving Wigley as manager for so long. Definitely the season Lowe got too big for his boots.
  11. We have a tough decision to make for this game, imo. Do we chase the game, and risk bringing the likes of Lallana back early, or do we keep our powder dry, give them a couple more days to improve so that they are more effective against Hartlepool, but risk losing and letting Huddersfield and Posh coming back at out throats ?
  12. Means nothing. With our injury list, we must hold on to 2nd place somehow. We will never get through playoffs including Peterborough and Rochdale.
  13. A win is a win, so we keep our slender advantages of a game in hand and GD, but we've really reached the end of the road in the injuries department. I doubt our ability to sustain our momentum over the last 5 games. Barnard has been critical several times this season.
  14. Almost definitely In faact, I have realised that I wasnt able to see past the Rochdale game and thought our run-in looked v. tough. Now we are on the other side of the Rochdale game, despite losing, my optimism has increased. But there is no space for other slip-ups, NA. You have to get your tactics and team spot-on from now on....
  15. Inevitable. We always do things the hard way. Let's hope we dont end up gallant playoff losers again.
  16. Do you mean me ?
  17. Complacent b*ll*cks. Still 7 games to go, still opportunities for last-minute twists.
  18. Definitely, the only question is will it be shown that he cost us automatic promotion too.
  19. 9 pts from the first 27. Will that run still cost us ? Brighton's run is very impressive.
  20. Yeah, but dont let eccentricities such as facts get in the way of a good Über fan p*ssing contest, Steve.
  21. Does nuclear particle physics give you a hadron ? *gets coat*
  22. This game is tougher, much tougher than Brighton, for reasons stated above. i) We are "budgeting" for losing at Brighton, but want something from this game. ii) Brighton may well be freewheeling by then, having won the championship
  23. Because I am deeply fascinated in the "Puncheon can come back and do a job for us" cult that has sprung up.
