For a grotty, wet, cold, midweek, nailed-on defeat, live on TV, two weeks after Christmas, that’s not bad really.

I get that but some people act as if 9-0 is our go to score and have been predicting it every time we’ve played a top six team, ever since. We’ve had far more surprise wins than 9-0s against these teams over the last few years.

Why though? It’s not like in the league where GD counts. It doesn’t matter if we lose 1-0 or 6-0.

So we’ve just abandoned the concept of any kind of play maker then.
