How can you say that, whilst also forgetting Chelsea, Leicester and Bournemouth? It’s the points over 38 games which decide things, same as every season. The case for staying up is that we’re hovering around the relegation, not cut adrift, despite having our better players injured. In the four games Lavia and ABK played together we got seven points. How many people, "cant make a case for," Villa staying up? Or Leicester, Wolves, Leeds or anyone else around the bottom three. Weird how people only ever say that about their own team.

I couldn't call it either way personally, both were useless at this level last season. If Tella has taken a step forward with Burnley and can take another next year then great, but that's a big 'if' in both cases. There are plenty of players for whom that's just there level. Tella will be 24 in summer, it's getting into sh*t or get off the khazi time for him.

You vote for an MP to be elected to parliament. If the circumstances around that change, then they have a by-election. You don’t vote for a prime minister, so legally speaking it’s up to the Tories to appoint whoever they like, as often as they like. Obviously that doesn’t go down well with voters, but legally I don’t think there’s anything which would trigger an election.

Anyway, all joking aside, Liverpool lose to the team bottom of the league. I pity the fool who can’t enjoy that!

I don't really know what this means, if I'm honest. In what way have we become bland and corporate, in a way that we weren't before? What is it you would expect from Semmens to reestablish identity and spirit? What is the 'touchy feely crap' we've become too focused on?

There’re maybe ten to fifteen countries which generally score better than us in most quality of life metrics. We’re better than the other 190-odd.

Until something tangible comes to light, I don't think there's anything to actually discuss here.
