He’s not good enough for City. If he goes it’ll be Spurs, Everton, Leicester or West Ham.

My opinion of that is basically the same as when it comes to racism and other abuse. Social media is a means by which any nutter in the world can contact you in an instant. All this really proves is that they’re out there.

I’d take one for a cup win. Not for another QF or whatever round this is next.
-
Probably because your average army recruit can’t phone his agent and demand a transfer to the Navy Reserves if the corporals are being mean to him.
-
I think Alisson’s been on the disco biscuits.
-
Gundogan watching the rugby before the game it would seem.
-
I'm really not sure the rest of the football world views a man who has been at Southampton for two years, and has them firmly in the bottom half after two 9-0 defeats, as an upgrade on Mourinho.
-
Well if we knew that, we’d all be making billions from the bookmakers.
-
It's the irony more than anything. The hateful, f**king irony. In our very next game life says, "hey, now let's see what YOU can do against 9 men!"
-
A win and three draws in 16 games would be a miracle? The bottom three will struggle to get where we are now, let alone 40 points.
-
Can we finally put to bed the myth of underperforming at St Mary’s because of negative fans? They’ve been playing in empty stadiums for a year and it’s the same gutless, feeble bunch of bottle jobs as ever.
-
Should we have kept Long because of that display by Ings?
-
It’s like they’ve come home from losing 9-0 again and thought ‘how can we take the p*ss out of our own fans even more?’ I know, we’ll play against 9 men in our very next game and fail to score at all.
-
Form. We aren’t as bad as the team that lost 9-0 and we aren’t as good as the team that was top of the table.
-
What’s betting when that does happen it ends up being someone like Djenepo, with Stephens moving inside.
-
Newcastle bought us a packet of profiteroles to cheer us up?

I can’t put them in order but: going back to work, hopefully, for the first time since March. Having mates round in the garden for beers and BBQ when the weather warms up. Getting the pub quiz team going again. Going back to St Mary’s, even just to see us be sh*t and lose to someone like Brighton. Paintball tournaments Going to some cricket games with JustMike. Visiting family, who all live abroad and I’ve seen bugger all of for a year. Skiing - only 50 weeks to wait now. Attending F1 races. I’m hoping Belgium will be open by August BTCC - Thruxton is in May I believe so fingers crossed. Visiting mates who live in Dubai A f*cking good beach/sailing holiday Taking the dog on proper walks, further away than ‘my local area’. A decent massage Im sure there’d be more if I thought about it.

More than enough threads on MD, we don't need another about a horse racing website from 15 years ago.

I'd love for someone to make a spoof apocalypse movie and at the end Sean Bean is the only man left alive.
-
Likewise a Police film. In fact if any friend of the protagonist seems to be generally content with life, you know what's coming.

Anything we get out of him is pretty much a bonus. Bearing in mind we went shopping for fullbacks and only caught a glimpse of him on the 'Reduced to Clear' shelf on the way out.

I’d have the New Year’s Day fixtures and then a 3 week to one month break. Three weeks of glorious sunshine would be unusual for January and would still be accompanied by the kind of cold weather which causes so many muscle injuries.
-
I think if ever there was an advert for a winter break, it’s this (not that there is room for one this year with Covid)
-
Young, English players, with potential to come in and play immediately if needed for sub £1m. You’re living in dreamland; we sold Targett for 17 times that amount and he really wasn’t all that. Buying Vokins from a League 1 club would probably cost us north of £5m.
-
We’ve brought in Salisu, Diallo, Walcott, KWP and Minamino in a year when everyone is tighter because of Covid. We’ve also stuck with a manager who has lost 9-0 twice and is yet to finish top half. I’m not sure Europe’s giants rate Ralph quite as highly as we do. Poch and Koeman were both consistently better and only went to Everton and Spurs.
